Penthouse Stradom – LoftAffair Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Penthouse Stradom – LoftAffair, you’d honestly never guess what awaits you inside this unassuming building on Stradomska street. The entrance is pretty modest, but that’s actually part of the charm — you’re staying in a real residential building in Kraków’s Old Town, not some sterile hotel complex. Once you climb up to the penthouse level, though, everything changes. The space opens up into this surprisingly modern loft that feels more like borrowing a stylish friend’s apartment than checking into a typical three-star hotel.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s brilliant about this spot? You’re literally in the heart of Old Town, but on a quieter street that locals actually use. Stradomska runs parallel to the main tourist drag, which means you can walk to Market Square in about five minutes without fighting through crowds every time you leave. I mean, you’re close enough to hear the trumpet call from St. Mary’s Tower, but far enough away that you won’t have drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The Vistula River is just a short stroll away, and honestly, some of the best riverside walks in Kraków start right from this neighborhood.
The Penthouse Experience
The loft itself is what really sets this place apart from your standard hotel room. We’re talking high ceilings, exposed beams, and these huge windows that flood the space with natural light during the day. The design strikes this nice balance between industrial chic and cozy comfort — think polished concrete floors softened with area rugs, and modern furniture that actually looks like someone lives here. There’s a proper kitchen if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Cloth Hall market, plus a living area where you can spread out and actually relax. The bedroom feels separate enough to maintain that apartment vibe, and the bathroom is surprisingly spacious for an Old Town building.
Practical Perks
What I really appreciated were the thoughtful touches that show someone actually understands what travelers need. The Wi-Fi is solid (crucial if you’re working remotely), and there’s plenty of space to unpack properly instead of living out of a suitcase. The kitchen comes stocked with basics, which is perfect since there’s a great little grocery store just around the corner on Grodzka street. Parking can be tricky in this part of town — well, it’s tricky everywhere in Old Town — but the hosts provide clear instructions about nearby options.
Why Couples Love It
It’s easy to see why this place scores so highly with couples. The penthouse has this intimate, private feel that’s hard to find in traditional hotels, especially at this price point. You can cook breakfast together while planning your day, or just curl up on the couch with a bottle of Polish wine after exploring the city. The location means you can easily walk to romantic dinner spots in Kazimierz or catch sunset views from Wawel Castle, then retreat to your own little sanctuary above the medieval streets. There’s something special about having your own rooftop space in a city this beautiful — it makes Kraków feel like home, even if you’re only visiting for a few days.

The space is great, well located, and a responsive host when issues arose. Would highly recommend. It is right on two easy tram lines so getting around is no problem.
Sara from Slovenia (10/10)
Everything was great. The apartment has a fantastic location and everything you could possibly need. The only issue we had was with the central heating. The apartment was very hot, around 28 degrees, even though we turned off the heating (or at least we tried). We had to open the windows to get some fresh air.
Mike from United Kingdom (10/10)
The space was amazing. The sauna was a real touch. The bathrooms were beautifully designed and the attention to detail was so clear to see. The location was perfect. With a 10 minute walk to either stare miasto or kazimierz.

Located near to Wawel castle,.just between the old town and Kazimierz quarter. Perfect location to visit must-sees in Krakow. Well-equipped and clean apartment, sauna in the evening was amazing.

The location is perfect and the accommodation was phenomenal.
Aleksei from Germany (10/10)
Perfect location — right between the Center and Kazimierz, full of fancy restaurants and bars. However it’s quiet, even keeping in mind central location. There’s tram stop in three minutes and lots of shops in 5 minutes walk.
Beds are super comfortable, the apartment is bright and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped with all necessary plates etc. including coffee machine.
Especially I liked the sauna inside one of the bathrooms. Also TV with smart TV feature is useful, when you’re tired.Angie from Ukraine (10/10)
Apartments is located in the center of Krakow, where you could reach everything you need. They are big, light and comfortable, well equipped and quality of everything is high! All is modern and all well thought out. Very clean and tidy. You could totally trust the photos.
I was only confused, because it was said like one bedroom, but actually there is one bedroom downstairs and one more upstairs with a double bed and single.
We were unlucky with the weather this days, so sauna was a perfect bonus, especially after all day walking under the rain.
Super friendly and quick replying host:)
Totally recommend and would definitely come back again!Zoltan from Slovakia (10/10)
The location was exceptionally good. Parking on the street worked, I had no problem. The apartment was big, comfortable, clean. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The support was great. Polite, always available, competent. We were absolutely satisfied.
