You walk into what feels more like your artsy friend’s incredibly well-designed apartment than a typical hotel room – and I mean that as the highest compliment. The space has this industrial-chic thing going on with exposed brick and these massive windows that honestly make you feel like you’re living in some indie film about creative types making it in the big city.

What really struck me was how they managed to nail that authentic loft vibe without sacrificing comfort. The bed is legitimately great (none of that rock-hard hotel mattress nonsense), and there’s actual space to spread out your stuff – something you don’t always get even at fancier places. The kitchen area isn’t just for show either; I actually used it, which never happens when I travel. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, no endless upselling or corporate script reading from the staff. They seemed to actually know their neighborhood, which was helpful for restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the usual tourist traps.

Here’s the thing about this place – it’s technically rated as a 3-star property, but honestly, that rating system feels pretty meaningless here. The 9.3 guest rating makes way more sense because they’re clearly focusing on experience over fancy lobby marble or whatever. Sure, you’re not getting a concierge in a suit or turn-down service with chocolates on your pillow, but you are getting something that feels genuine and comfortable in a way that a lot of higher-rated chains just… don’t. The location works really well if you want to feel like you’re actually staying somewhere with character rather than in some sterile business district. I could hear a bit of street life during the day – not disruptive, just the kind of ambient city sounds that remind you where you are. If you’re the type who needs absolute silence, maybe pack earplugs, but I actually found it kind of charming. It’s the sort of place I’d genuinely recommend to friends, especially if they’re tired of cookie-cutter hotel experiences and want something that feels a bit more real.

  Door code was convenient for when we arrived.
  
  Fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed utensils and glasses and cups plates – just missing a kitchen towel or “tea towel” we used a bathroom towel.
