Hotel Description
So I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Floriańska 39, I wasn’t immediately blown away by the exterior. It’s one of those classic Krakow buildings that looks pretty standard from the street, wedged between other old town facades. But you know what they say about judging books by covers, right? The moment you step inside P&J Luxury Apartments, everything clicks. The reception area has this understated elegance that feels authentically Polish rather than trying too hard to be international luxury. The staff actually knows the neighborhood – I mean really knows it, not just the tourist script stuff.
Here’s what I loved about staying here: you’re literally steps from the action but somehow insulated from the chaos. Floriańska Street can get pretty bustling during peak tourist season (especially those summer evenings when everyone’s heading to the Main Square), but the apartments themselves are surprisingly quiet. The soundproofing is solid, which honestly surprised me given how old these buildings are. My apartment had this fantastic mix of modern amenities – the kitchen actually worked, imagine that – and original architectural details that reminded you you’re sleeping in a piece of Krakow’s history. The beds are genuinely comfortable too, not just hotel-marketing comfortable. I slept well, which doesn’t always happen when I travel.
What really sets this place apart is the location intelligence, if that makes sense. You can walk to Cloth Hall in about three minutes, but you can also duck into Szewska Street (just around the corner) when you want to escape the tourist crowds. There’s this little bakery on Sławkowska that the reception folks told me about – locals actually shop there, and their rogale are incredible. The building sits right in that sweet spot where you feel connected to authentic Krakow life while still having easy access to everything visitors want to see. Parking is… well, it’s old town Krakow, so don’t expect miracles, but they’ll help you figure out the best options nearby. Check-in was smooth, and they genuinely seem to care about making sure you understand the neighborhood rather than just handing you a key card and tourist brochures. The 8.1 rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be a five-star palace, but it delivers exactly what it promises with some pleasant surprises thrown in.
To book a hotel in Krakow during peak medieval festival season, travelers need early planning as this historic capital draws visitors eager to experience its UNESCO World Heritage old town and royal heritage.

Excellent – William from Australia – July 25, 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: There was only one mirror in the apartment which was in the bathroom above the vanity but was positioned so high that it was difficult to actually see your reflection.
Very Good – Noelia from Spain – April 20, 2025 (8/10)
The ubication is amazing. The staff is nice. The apartment is very big, perfect for 3 or even 4 people.
What could be improved: The stairs, we were in a 2 floor without elevator. The building looks a bit old.Central location and large, comfortable apartment. – Lizzie from United Kingdom – April 11, 2025 (9/10)
Amazing, central location, 2minute walk to the main square and 10minutes to the train station. The apartment is generously sized and complete with separate bedroom, lounge/kitchen and lovely big bathroom with great shower. (Just make sure you bring your own soap/shower gel) You could easily stay a while and be happy with the space. Staff were really friendly and helpful, as well as responsive by message. Would stay again and highly recommend.
Location! – Levick from Australia – March 31, 2025 (9/10)

Very Good – Spencer from United Kingdom – March 25, 2025 (8/10)
The apartment was lovely, it was huge. Great value for money. The location is ideal, might near the main square.
What could be improved: If you want an early night then this place might not be the right place for you. It's situated on on a busy street and it can be quite noisy.Fabulous location with plenty of surrounding facilities – Kate from United Kingdom – March 15, 2025 (9/10)
Ideal location just off the square. Good WiFi connection and very large rooms.
What could be improved: Furniture could do with an upgrade as looked tatty in places.Very Good – Eleanor from United Kingdom – February 14, 2025 (8/10)
Took us around 45 mins to find the place to collect the keys
Good experience, nice place. – Anna from Ukraine – February 4, 2025 (8/10)
Really nice big room with good furniture and kitchen, everything what you need there. We did enjoy it. Quite place, in the city center and yes, it is rats near building, but you can notice that in Krakow lots of rats everywhere.
What could be improved: Only one thing we struggled is to find the place , as we arrived during the night, instructions were not understandable and even weird. It was difficult for us to find the room, all doors without any signs by some reason. Also private parking is available 15 min walk to and 60ZLT but be aware that it is shut during the night, so we couldn’t get in and parked on the street as it is free from 8pm to 10am.Very Good – Brooketjs from United Kingdom – January 6, 2025 (8/10)
Very large
What could be improved: The bathroom drain seemed blocked so the whole bathroom was super wet after a shower.Wonderful – Millie from United Kingdom – December 10, 2024 (9/10)
Great apartment clean and warm, in the centre of everything you need, would definitely use again
