This three-star property doesn’t try to be fancy, but honestly, when you’re this perfectly positioned, you don’t need to shout about it. The building itself blends right into the old-world charm of the square, which I actually prefer to those sterile modern hotels that stick out like sore thumbs.

The Heart of Kazimierz

You know what’s brilliant about staying here? You’re literally steps away from the famous zapiekanka stands — those Polish baguette pizzas that locals queue up for late at night. The square comes alive in the evenings, and you can watch it all unfold from your window. During the day, you’ve got vintage shops, art galleries, and some of the best coffee spots in the city right on your doorstep. Plus, the Old Town is just a pleasant 10-minute walk across the river, so you’re never far from the main tourist attractions but you get to sleep somewhere with actual character.

The Accommodation

The apartment setup here works really well — you get your own space with a proper kitchen area, which is perfect if you want to grab fresh bread and local cheese from the nearby market. The room I stayed in was clean and functional, nothing fancy but everything you need. The beds are comfortable enough, and there’s decent storage space for your stuff. What I appreciated most was how quiet it gets at night despite being in such a lively area — the windows do a good job of keeping the sound out when you want to sleep.

Local Life and Atmosphere

Staying here, you really feel like you’re living in Kraków rather than just visiting it. The locals treat this square as their neighborhood hangout — you’ll see people meeting friends for drinks at the outdoor bars, students studying on benches, and families out for evening strolls. There’s a great little restaurant called Hamsa just around the corner that does incredible Middle Eastern food, and honestly, half the fun is discovering these places that you’d never find if you were staying in some tourist hotel district. The whole area has this relaxed, bohemian vibe that makes you want to slow down and actually enjoy your trip.

Why Guests Love It

Look, couples especially seem to get what this place is about — there’s something romantic about wandering these old cobblestone streets together and then coming back to your own little space. The location score speaks for itself, and when you’re here, you understand why. You’re not paying for marble lobbies or fancy spas, but you are getting something more valuable — you’re staying in the real Kraków. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, but that’s true anywhere in the old quarters, and honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re here anyway.

  Plac Nowy is erfectly situated in the area we wanted to experience. Loved the night atmosphere in the food court and on the streets of Kazimierz. It is close to other sights we visited, like the Oskar Schindler's factory, the Getto, etc.

  The apartment is in a perfect position, sorrounded by nice bars and restaurants. Although the square in front of the palace has an intense night life, the apartment is very quite because in the internal court. It is warm and well equipped with all the services needed for a long stay. The position is strategic to move around the city by walking.

  Near the city, but calm, not to big, but nice place with good neighbors. Enough equipments for a few days staying.

  It was in a very central location in Kazimierz. But hidden away enough to not be effected by street noise. We had a boiler problem, that was resolved very quickly, spacious, has most things you’ll need, such as iron and ironing board, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, washing machine, Wi-Fi.

  Lokalizacja była świetna, idealna do zwiedzania Kazimierza i centrum ze względu na małą odległość do przystanków. Mimo centralnego położenia w mieszkaniu nie było słychać hałasu z placu. Zdecydowanym plusem było wygodne łóżko i duża wanna. Byłam też mile zaskoczona, że na miejscu zastałam herbatę, kawę, cukier, a także próbki kosmetyków i potrzebną chemię (płyn do naczyń, tabletki do zmywarki).
