You know what? Place 4 You Apartments totally caught me off guard – in the best way possible. I mean, when you’re walking down Sienna Street in Krakow’s Old Town, you expect charm, but this place actually delivers on it without feeling like a tourist trap. The building has that perfect mix of historical character and modern updates that honestly makes you feel like you scored some kind of insider secret.

The location is ridiculously good, and I don’t say that lightly. You’re literally a three-minute walk to the Main Square – I timed it because I’m neurotic like that – but here’s the thing most people don’t realize: you’re positioned just far enough from the main drag that you don’t get the late-night party noise that plagues some of the hotels right on the square. The apartments themselves are spacious (actually spacious, not “European spacious”), and whoever designed them clearly understands what travelers need. Full kitchens that work, decent wifi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and – this matters more than you’d think – really good water pressure in the showers. The décor is sort of modern-minimalist but warm, with these great big windows that let in tons of natural light during the day.

What really sets this place apart though is how it feels like staying in a neighborhood rather than a hotel bubble. There’s this fantastic little bakery called Cukiernia Sowa just around the corner on Grodzka Street where locals actually go for their morning coffee – you’ll spot it by the line of people speaking Polish, not tourists with guidebooks. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too; no hovering desk clerks or pushy upsells, just practical information about the area and genuinely helpful recommendations. I stayed there during shoulder season in early May, and the staff mentioned that summer gets pretty busy (fair warning if you’re planning a July visit), but the building never felt crowded or chaotic. Parking can be a bit tricky since it’s the Old Town, but honestly, you won’t need a car anyway – everything worth seeing is walkable, and the tram connections are solid if you want to venture further out. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Krakow, but it nails all the fundamentals while giving you that authentic neighborhood feel that’s honestly pretty rare in tourist-heavy areas these days.

  Fantastic location. Right beside the main square, opposite a handy small grocery shop and lovely restaurant. Staff so kind, approachable and helpful from hotel that the apartment is belong to (4 min walk to collect and return keys). Apartment security I thought was excellent, felt very safe with multiple doors to go through to get to apartment.( travelling as solo parent with child so this was very important to me). Lovely view. Kitchen well stocked, apartment clean. Thoughtful extras (hairdryer, iron, fan etc)
  
  What could be improved: The windows are I’m guessing single pane. As it’s just off the main square you can hear all the noise through the night and bins in morning etc. My son slept through it all, I’m a light sleeper and didn’t sleep first night but then got used to it and with all the walking and sightseeing in the heat you’ll sleep well.

  We had the apartment on 10 Sienna, and you can't really get more central, just 2 mins walk from the main square. Perfect size for 2 people and looks to be newly decorated, so very clean.

  Great central location. Spacious rooms. Everything was clean and tidy. Close to all the things you need and also to the sights of old town.
