It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed city apartment rather than a typical hotel, which honestly makes the whole experience feel more authentic.

Location & Neighborhood

This four-star property sits in what locals call the absolute heart of Krakow, and they’re not exaggerating. You can stumble out the front door and be at St. Mary’s Basilica in about two minutes — I timed it. The Cloth Hall, Wawel Castle, all those incredible restaurants tucked into medieval cellars? They’re all within easy walking distance. What I loved most was how you’re right in the thick of things but on a quieter side street, so you’re not dealing with the main tourist crush every time you come and go. The couples rating of 9.7 makes total sense — there’s something undeniably romantic about wandering these cobblestone streets together.

The Apartment Experience

Place 4 You Apartments really delivers on that home-away-from-home feeling. My unit had a proper kitchenette, which came in handy when I wanted to grab some Polish pastries from the nearby bakery and make coffee in the morning. The space felt thoughtfully designed — not cramped like some city apartments can be, with enough room to actually unpack and settle in. The decor strikes a nice balance between modern comfort and respecting the historic character of the building. You know what impressed me most? The attention to practical details, like having enough outlets near the bed and decent water pressure in the shower.

Breakfast & Amenities

The continental breakfast setup works well for this type of property — nothing fancy, but solid basics that get you fueled up for a day of exploring. I actually preferred having the option to eat in my apartment some mornings, especially when I wanted to plan out my day with maps spread across the table. The staff was genuinely helpful with local recommendations, and they seemed to actually know the neighborhood rather than just reading from a script. Little touches like providing local area information and being flexible with check-in times made a real difference.

Why Guests Love It

Honestly, it comes down to location and value — you’re getting that prime Old Town address without paying upscale hotel prices. The apartment-style setup gives you more space and flexibility than a traditional hotel room, which is perfect if you’re planning to spend several days exploring Krakow.   Fantastic location. Right beside the main square, opposite a handy small grocery shop and lovely restaurant. Staff so kind, approachable and helpful from hotel that the apartment is belong to (4 min walk to collect and return keys). Apartment security I thought was excellent, felt very safe with multiple doors to go through to get to apartment.( travelling as solo parent with child so this was very important to me). Lovely view. Kitchen well stocked, apartment clean. Thoughtful extras (hairdryer, iron, fan etc)
  
  What could be improved: The windows are I’m guessing single pane. As it’s just off the main square you can hear all the noise through the night and bins in morning etc. My son slept through it all, I’m a light sleeper and didn’t sleep first night but then got used to it and with all the walking and sightseeing in the heat you’ll sleep well.

  We had the apartment on 10 Sienna, and you can't really get more central, just 2 mins walk from the main square. Perfect size for 2 people and looks to be newly decorated, so very clean.

  Great central location. Spacious rooms. Everything was clean and tidy. Close to all the things you need and also to the sights of old town.

  The location in the old town was perfect. All attractions and transport within easy reach. The check-in/check-out instructions were clear and the hotel staff very helpful. Importantly, the room, and equipment was very clean and met our expectations. Thank you 😊
