So here’s the thing about PLANTONIA Aparthotel – it’s one of those places that completely caught me off guard in the best possible way. I mean, you see “3-star aparthotel” and think you know what you’re getting, but honestly? This place punches way above its weight class. That 9.4 rating isn’t some fluke or fake review bombing – it’s actually earned.

The aparthotel concept works really well here, especially if you’re staying more than just a night or two. You get proper apartment-style setups with kitchenettes that are actually functional (not those sad little mini-fridges and single burners you sometimes see), which means you can grab groceries and eat in when you want to. The rooms have this clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile – there’s clearly been some thought put into the design. What really impressed me was the attention to small details that most places skip. The lighting is actually good enough to read by, the shower has decent water pressure, and – this might sound weird but trust me on this – the beds are the right height. You know how some hotel beds are either too high or so low you need a crane to get out? Not here.

The staff deserves a mention too because they’ve got that sweet spot of being helpful without hovering. Check-in was smooth, and when I had questions about the area, they gave me actual useful local tips instead of just handing over a generic tourist map. The whole place has this relaxed efficiency going on – things work, but it doesn’t feel corporate or stuffy. I stayed during what seemed like a busier period and never felt crowded or like I was fighting for elevators or anything like that. The soundproofing is solid too, which you really appreciate when you’re trying to sleep. Look, it’s not trying to be some luxury resort with a million amenities you’ll never use, but what it does offer is done really well. The value proposition is honestly fantastic – you’re getting apartment-style comfort and space at hotel convenience levels, and the quality is genuinely impressive for what you’re paying. If you’re the type who appreciates places that focus on doing the fundamentals really well rather than flashy extras, you’ll probably love it here as much as I did.

  New, modern apartments, everything is thought out to the smallest detail for guests to feel at home. Excellent, convenient location. My family spent 8 wonderful days here.

  The place was very clean, welcoming, energy efficient, and eco-friendly. The complimentary coffee (with oat milk option) at the reception was an added bonus, ditto the nespresso pods in the unit. The salt grotto was very relaxing. The place exceeded our expectations. The bakery beside the place was also delightful.

  The hotel has completely exceeded our expectations!
  
  The hotel itself is very modern and sustainably driven. The staff was also very helpful and kind from the end to the beginning, there is also a great bakery right underneath the hotel, Zaczyn, with great coffee and pastries, defo a must-try. It is a short walk from the Wawel castle and the main square. Honestly could not fault it, and we will definitely stay here again if we visit Krakow!

  The apartment was a good size – and it was great to have 2 bathrooms! It was very clean and well equipped. The reception staff were all lovely – answered our questions with a smile. It was about a 15m walk to the centre of Krakow. Would come back!
