Platinia Premium Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Platinia Premium Apartments on Starowiślna Street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Kraków’s Old Town. The building has that perfect blend of historical charm and modern updates that you hope for but rarely find in three-star properties. I mean, the location alone — you’re literally steps from the main square, but tucked away on a quieter street that locals actually use. The entrance feels welcoming without being flashy, which honestly sets the right tone for what’s inside.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about staying at Platinia Premium Apartments — you can walk to St. Mary’s Basilica in about three minutes, but you’re not dealing with the constant tourist crowds right outside your door. Starowiślna is one of those streets that connects you to everything while giving you a bit of breathing room. The Cloth Hall, Wawel Castle, all the main sights are within easy walking distance, and there’s a fantastic pierogi place just around the corner that most visitors never discover. You know what really impressed me though? Even late at night, the area feels safe and well-lit, which matters when you’re exploring a new city.
The Apartments
The rooms at Platinia Premium Apartments feel more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed flat than a typical hotel. Each apartment comes with a proper kitchenette — not just a mini-fridge and microwave, but actual cooking facilities if you want to prepare something simple. The furnishings strike that sweet spot between modern comfort and local character, with wooden floors and tasteful décor that doesn’t scream “rental property.” Storage space is actually generous (rare for Old Town accommodations), and the bathrooms are updated with good water pressure, which you’ll appreciate after long days of sightseeing.
Daily Experience
What sets this place apart is how it lets you live like a temporary Kraków resident rather than just passing through. Having that kitchen means you can grab fresh bread and local cheese from the nearby market and have a proper breakfast while planning your day. The staff knows the neighborhood inside and out — they’ll point you toward the best milk bars and tell you which museums are worth the entrance fees. The building stays quiet even though you’re in the heart of everything, and the Wi-Fi actually works reliably throughout the apartments.
Why Guests Love It
Couples especially seem drawn to Platinia Premium Apartments, and I can see why — there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of historic Kraków to retreat to each evening. The combination of that unbeatable Old Town location with the privacy and space of an apartment creates the perfect base for exploring the city at your own pace. You get the independence to come and go as you please, plus the local insights that make a trip memorable. For a three-star property, it delivers an experience that feels much more refined and personal than you’d expect.

Fantastic staff members, fantastic accommodation is very close to everything. Great location, Five minutes walk and you're in old town .
The beds are incredibly comfortable. TV. Kettle , coffee pod machine . Plates, cups, fridge and more , everything you could want in a warm and modern large room . The pictures taken by the hotel are exactly what the rooms look like . There is no photo trickery. I will definitely stay here again . Infact, I can't see a reason to stay anywhere else in the future. Security gate and a beautiful courtyard inside . U get your key fob which works on gate front door and room. You come and go as you please .Panagiotis from Greece (10/10)
