You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from Platinum Suites when I first walked in – I mean, it’s a 3-star place and honestly, sometimes those can be hit or miss. But this place actually surprised me in all the right ways. The lobby has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, with these comfortable leather chairs that I ended up camping out in while waiting for friends. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful (not just going through the motions), and they knew the answers to my random questions about late-night food delivery and where to find a decent pharmacy nearby.

The suites themselves are where this place really shines – and I get why they put “Platinum” in the name now. The rooms are spacious in a way that feels intentional, not like they just had leftover square footage to fill. There’s actually room to spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the bed, which, let’s be honest, is rare these days. The kitchenette setup is pretty clever too – it’s not just a mini-fridge and microwave shoved in a corner, but an actual functional space where you could make a proper breakfast if you wanted to skip the hotel restaurant. I loved the bathroom setup with the separate shower area, and the water pressure was consistently good (I’m telling you, after a day of walking around, this matters more than fancy toiletries).

What really won me over was how quiet the place stays, even when it’s busy. The walls must be properly insulated because I never heard neighbors, and it sits just far enough back that street noise isn’t an issue. Parking was straightforward – no circling the block or paying ridiculous daily rates. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work; everything felt genuinely clean, not just surface-level tidy. I mean, look, it’s not going to blow your mind with flashy amenities or Instagram-worthy rooftop bars, but sometimes you just want a place that does the basics really well. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you stay there – it’s the kind of spot where everything works like it should, the beds are actually comfortable, and you wake up feeling rested instead of wondering why you didn’t just sleep at the airport. If you’re looking for solid comfort without the premium price tag, this place delivers.

  Perfect location, close to the main station. Clear instructions on how to get there and how to check in/collect keys, etc. Clean room with a small kitchenette, nice bathroom, working wifi. Perfect.

  The property is located near the old town in a quieter area and there is both a 24h shop and a coffee shop across the street! The appartment was spacious and clean!!! And the host was quick to reply and help accommodate us in our request and questions 🙂 I would definitely stay there again in a future trip to Krakow!
