Hotel Description

You know what hit me first about Privilege Suites II? The address says “Old Town” but it’s actually tucked away on this quiet little street called Kupa – honestly, I walked past it twice before spotting the entrance. And that’s kind of perfect, because once you’re inside, you realize you’ve found something special that feels miles away from the tourist chaos, even though you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Main Square.

The loft thing isn’t just marketing speak – these suites actually have that converted warehouse vibe going on, with exposed beams and these massive windows that flood the place with light during the day. I mean, the ceilings are high enough that you forget you’re in a hotel room. My suite had this little kitchen setup that I actually used (rare for me), and the bed was positioned so you could lie there and stare up at the architectural details. The whole place feels like someone took an old Krakow building and turned it into something a local architect might live in, not some cookie-cutter hotel room. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious too – important detail when you’ve been walking cobblestones all day and need a proper soak.

What really sold me on the place was the location knowledge the staff had. When I asked about avoiding the crowds at Wawel Castle, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a brochure – he told me exactly which entrance to use and what time to show up. Plus, being on Kupa puts you in this sweet spot where you can walk to everything that matters (Cloth Hall, St. Mary’s Basilica, those underground ruins) but you’re not dealing with the street noise and crowds that come with staying right on the square itself. I could hear church bells in the morning, but not drunk tourists at midnight, if you know what I mean. The 8.9 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Krakow, but it nails what actually matters: comfort, character, and a team that knows their city. Only minor thing I’d mention is that the street entrance is pretty understated, so don’t expect some grand hotel lobby experience – but honestly, that’s part of the charm.

  • A hidden gem – Khaled from Saudi Arabia – August 7, 2025 (10/10)

We had a wonderful stay at privileg SuitesOur room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The location was perfect for exploring krakow . I would highly recommend this Apartment.

What could be improved: The rooms without air conditioners,

  • Very satisfied , property was well put together location was on point, so many places to chose from when it comes to di – Alvon from United Kingdom – July 29, 2025 (9/10)

Everything. Location , size , layout. Was perfect

What could be improved: Nothing not to like.

  • No AC – Manddl from United States – July 22, 2025 (9/10)

The response from the managing agency was superb! It was close to the center. Spacious apartment. Nicely decorated.

What could be improved: No AC even though the search filter showed it as having AC. It was very hot on hot days. And with opened windows it was somewhat loud at night and early morning. We expected the loudness, though. It is in the touristy center and close to everything. Its to be expected.

The AC is not stated in the room itself, but it displays for the property management Privilege Suites overall description. So we made a mistake of not double checking. But I also wish they were more upfront about it.

  • Great place, super apartment, would like to own it myself. – Andrew from Ireland – July 15, 2025 (10/10)

    Location was great.

What could be improved: Wanted a late checkout, they couldn’t facilitate.

  • Excellent location and beautifully appointed apartment – Teresa from United Kingdom – July 7, 2025 (8/10)

The location and decor were excellent and loved the upstairs terrace

What could be improved: The main bedroom/bathroom just got too hot. The A/C didn’t work in the bedroom

  • Exceptional – Carlos from Brazil – June 23, 2025 (10/10)

It's a very nice apartment. Two full bathrooms, living room, kitchen, bedroom. There's a patio with comfortable chairs. Very well decorated, there's everything you need for a short or long stay. Close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets. It's in the Jewish neighborhood and about a 15 minute walk from most places.

What could be improved: It's not really their problem, but it's A problem. Next to the apartment there's a food truck and behind it, garbage cans. Because of this, there are flies and when sitting on the patio you have to deal with them. And there are a lot of them. We couldn't leave the doors to the patio open because the flies would fly into the room.

  • Exceptional – Beata from Austria – June 16, 2025 (10/10)

Very nice, big apartment in the center of Kazimierz district. Very nice and helpful staff.

  • Great place to stay for a few days in Krakow – Mhi_rdu from Romania – June 15, 2025 (10/10)

Apartment had everything you need; great location(walking distance of important POI); Communication regarding check-in/check-out was clear and simple; a lot of restaurants close by

What could be improved: Not really related to the apartment, but there was a parking issue(cannot park on the street in front or behind the apartment without a special permit – 100zl fine – seemed more like a trick of the local police who did not know any english to explain 😉 I ended up parking in a private parking 5 min away for 70zl/night.

  • Very spacious apartment in a great location in krakow – Micha from Netherlands – June 7, 2025 (9/10)

One of those apartments that is actually more spacious than the photo’s. Great location in the jewish quarter. The apartment is next to a bar, but the apartment is soundproofed. If you are a light sleeper, look somewhere else.

What could be improved: Shower drain was clogged upon arrival but quickly fixed once we notified the owner. Would have like to see more pots and pans as the selection quite limited.
