The whole setup feels like someone converted an old building (which they probably did, considering you’re in the heart of Old Town) and kept some of the original character while making it functional for modern travelers. The rooms aren’t huge – this is a 3-star place after all – but they’re thoughtfully laid out. What I really appreciated was how close everything is on foot. The main train station is maybe a 7-minute walk, and you can grab coffee or groceries without having to venture far from your temporary home base. There’s this little bakery around the corner that locals hit up in the mornings – I stumbled across it by accident and ended up going back three times during my stay.

The 8.1 rating makes sense to me because it delivers on the essentials without trying to be something it’s not. Check-in was straightforward, the WiFi actually worked well (crucial if you’re mixing business with travel), and the staff seemed to know the area genuinely well – not just the tourist spots but practical stuff like where to find a pharmacy late or which tram lines get you where fastest. The building has that solid European feel, thick walls that keep things relatively quiet despite being so central. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially if I needed that sweet spot between Old Town charm and easy access to transportation. It’s not luxury, but it’s honest and well-located, which honestly matters more than fancy amenities when you’re trying to actually experience a place rather than just pass through it.

  This is a lovely apartment within easy walking distance of old town Krakow, the train station, and the Jewish quarter – excellent location. It's also very quiet because it's kind of on a little side street. Facilities wise it has everything you'd need, and the Japanese-oriented decor is really nice looking. Great for the price, and very comfortable.
