There’s this little bakery two streets over that does incredible obwarzanek (those pretzel-ring things), and honestly, the whole Podgórze district has been quietly transforming into this cool area with galleries and cafes that feel lived-in rather than tourist-focused. The 9.5 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense either – everything from check-in to the morning coffee service feels thoughtfully done. Sure, it’s not going to have a rooftop infinity pool or whatever, but if you want a proper base for exploring Kraków without feeling like you’re staying in a theme park version of the city, this hits that sweet spot perfectly.
