Hotel Description
You know what? PURO Kraków Kazimierz is one of those hotels that actually gets it right. I mean, when you first walk in, there’s this immediate sense that someone put real thought into the design – it’s sleek and modern but not in that cold, sterile way that makes you feel like you’re staying in a spaceship. The lobby has this warm, industrial-chic vibe with exposed brick and copper accents that somehow perfectly captures what Kazimierz is all about: historic but alive, sophisticated but approachable.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to be in the heart of things without dealing with the tourist chaos of the Old Town. You’re literally steps away from Plac Nowy (that’s where all the best bars are, by the way), and honestly, I spent more time exploring the little galleries and vintage shops on Józefa Street than I did in my room – which is saying something because the room was genuinely great. The beds are proper comfortable, not just hotel-comfortable, and there’s actually decent storage space, which anyone who’s tried to unpack in a European hotel room will appreciate. What really impressed me though was the attention to details – like, the bathroom products don’t smell like generic hotel soap, and the lighting actually works for both reading and getting ready to go out.
Here’s the thing about staying in Kazimierz – it can get pretty lively at night (especially on weekends), but PURO somehow manages to keep things quiet inside. I was expecting to hear every conversation from the bars below, but honestly, I slept better here than at some countryside hotels. The breakfast is solid too, nothing revolutionary, but they’ve got local touches mixed in with the international stuff, and the coffee is strong enough to fuel your morning walk through the Jewish Quarter. Oh, and if you’re planning to explore beyond Kazimierz – which you should – the tram connections are right there, so getting to Wawel Castle or even out to Nowa Huta is pretty straightforward. I’d definitely stay here again, and I’m usually pretty picky about hotels. It’s just one of those places where everything works the way it should, and you can tell the staff actually cares about what they’re doing rather than just going through the motions.

The hotel is one of the best. We felt very good! The room was very nice and comfortable. I like the mattress. They had free of charge coffee and tea. And we use the free bicycle to run near Vistula. The cocktails at the bar were very good. And the food was modern and urban. 🙂
