You know what caught me off guard about Qubus Hotel Kraków? The moment I walked into that lobby, I actually felt like I was somewhere that understood design – and I mean really understood it, not just threw some expensive furniture around and called it modern. There’s this sleek, almost industrial vibe that somehow manages to feel warm instead of cold, which honestly is pretty rare for contemporary hotels. The whole place has this subtle Polish character woven through the modern aesthetic, like they’re not trying to pretend they could be anywhere else in Europe.

I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t one of those hotels where you’re paying for fancy marble everything, but the 4-star rating really shows in the details that matter. The rooms are smartly designed (actually functional, imagine that), the beds are properly comfortable, and the bathrooms work like they should. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even when there’s a decent crowd in the common areas. The staff genuinely seems to know Kraków well too, which makes a difference when you’re trying to figure out where to grab dinner that isn’t just tourist central. I mean, they pointed me toward this little spot in Kazimierz that I never would’ve found otherwise.

The location is honestly pretty sweet – you’re close enough to the action that you can walk to the main sights without planning your whole day around transportation, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with crowds of people right outside your window at midnight. Parking’s actually doable here too, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate a car through Kraków’s Old Town, you’ll appreciate. With that 8.9 rating, it’s clearly hitting the mark for most people, and after staying there, I get why. It’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you – which, honestly, ends up being pretty impressive in itself.

  The staff were so fiendly and helpful, the facilities were clean and well maintained and nothing was too much bother for anyone to help with. the location was fabulous, everything within walking distance and easy to find and after the walking reslaxing in the spa is a must.

  – Gym, sauna and whirlpool are really nice and not crowded at all, i was almost alone there all the time.
  – Breakfast is simply outstanding.
  – At every floor there was free water (sparkling and non).
  – room was big and conformable.

  The rooms were nice and spacious, bathrooms clean and tidy, great facilities such as hair drier, iron and ironing board, a fridge and safe if needed. Also a kettle with Tea and coffee available in the bedroom. The windows were great and the decor was lovely, smart TV available with tv channels, apps and the option to play music from your phone. The staff were helpful and polite always and the restaurant was really good with plenty of variety of foods. The spa had great facilities, including the jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna and steam room, as well as a gym, all included in the price. The hotel was close to many attractions within no more than a 30 minute walk. Schindler's factory and the Jewish quarter were just behind the hotel as well, a beautiful bridge and historical buildings around. The hotel overall was beautiful and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Krakow.

  The room was amazing, the staff were amazing, the food was amazing, the bar was amazing. I cannot fault this property at all. We would definitely recommend upgrading to the river view, wow.
