You know what? Queen Apartments totally surprised me. I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place, but there’s something genuinely comfortable about this spot that grows on you pretty quickly.

The thing is, it’s got that lived-in feel that a lot of sterile hotels are missing these days. I mean, you’re not going to find marble lobbies or those fancy automated everything systems, but honestly? That’s kind of refreshing. The staff actually remembers your name after a day or two, and they seem to genuinely care about whether you’re finding everything okay. My room had this slightly worn but super cozy armchair by the window – the kind you’d actually want to curl up in with a book, not just something that looks good in photos. The bed was surprisingly decent too, though the pillows were a bit flat for my taste (but hey, that’s what the extras in the closet are for, right?).

What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even during what should be busy times. The walls are thicker than you’d expect, and there’s this almost residential calm to the whole place. Parking was actually pretty straightforward – none of that circling-the-block nightmare you get with some city hotels. The neighborhood itself has this nice mix of local cafes and small shops within walking distance, the kind of places where you can grab a proper breakfast instead of those overpriced hotel continental spreads. I stumbled across this little bakery just two blocks over that made the most incredible pastries – definitely worth the early morning walk. Check-in was smooth, no weird complications or surprise fees, and they were flexible when I needed to extend my stay by a night. Sure, the WiFi could be stronger in some corners of the building, and the shower pressure varies depending on what floor you’re on, but these feel like minor things when you’re getting solid value for what you’re paying. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just passing through a generic box, if that makes sense.

  We had a delux app and it was great, no complaint what so ever. Blonde receptionist was very buisy but super kind. Big thanks to her. App was very clean, spaceous, with everything for great stay – excellent beds, kitchen, nice bathroom, good wifi, free street parking is from 20-10h. Beautiful location in old Jewish quoter where you can feel real Krakow vibe. loved it and thanks !
