Quiet & Cosy Apt in the Heart of Old Cracow Overview
Honestly, when I first walked into this place tucked away in Old Cracow’s maze of cobblestone streets, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are the ones that surprise you. This apartment has that lived-in charm that makes you feel like you’re staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room – and I mean that in the best possible way.
The location is actually perfect if you want to experience Cracow like locals do. You’re right in the thick of things but on one of those quieter side streets where you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling back from the bars at 3 AM (trust me, that matters). I could walk to the main square in maybe five minutes, but there’s something really nice about ducking back into this peaceful little corner after a day of sightseeing. The building itself has that old European character – you know, creaky wooden floors and thick walls that have probably seen a century or two of stories. There’s no elevator, so if stairs are a problem, maybe consider that, but honestly the climb isn’t bad and it keeps things quiet.
What really sold me was how thoughtfully put together everything felt. The kitchen actually has proper dishes and cookware (not just random mismatched plates), which was great for grabbing fresh bread and cheese from the local market – there’s this fantastic little place just around the corner where the vendor remembers your order after two visits. The bed was genuinely comfortable, not just “good enough for a few nights,” and they’ve got those heavy curtains that actually block out the morning light if you want to sleep in. I appreciated the little touches too – decent coffee in the cupboard, extra blankets that don’t smell musty, a shower with proper water pressure. These things sound basic, but you’d be amazed how many places get them wrong.
The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here. It’s not fancy – there’s no concierge or daily housekeeping – but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. The check-in was smooth (they actually respond to messages quickly), and the whole experience just felt… well, cozy. I mean, it’s literally in the name, right? If you’re the type who needs a gym and room service, this isn’t your spot. But if you want a genuine home base for exploring one of Europe’s most beautiful old cities, somewhere you can make a proper cup of tea and spread out your maps without feeling like you’re camping, this place gets it right. Plus, staying here instead of one of those cookie-cutter hotels near the tourist traps means you’ll have extra money for the really good pierogi.

The apartment is located in a quiet house close to the Old Town, just a 15-minute walk. The instructions about how to get there were sent in advance and were very clear. The place itself was very cozy, and the hosts seemed to take care of everything and thought of each detail. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom – nice and clean. There are lots of markets nearby. You'll have access to Netflix, Youtube and will have even some cereals for breakfast in addition to tea/coffee etc 🙂

Good location and close to tram stops. Walkable to Wawel and the Main Square (I don't mind walking !)
Good space.
There is a great "self service" restaurant in the next street (Polakowski restaurant on Miodowa) serving good food at cheap recipes, and Pod Temida near the main square is also a great "cheap eat"!Vlada from Poland (9/10)
