There’s no elevator, so if stairs are a problem, maybe consider that, but honestly the climb isn’t bad and it keeps things quiet.

What really sold me was how thoughtfully put together everything felt. The kitchen actually has proper dishes and cookware (not just random mismatched plates), which was great for grabbing fresh bread and cheese from the local market – there’s this fantastic little place just around the corner where the vendor remembers your order after two visits. The bed was genuinely comfortable, not just “good enough for a few nights,” and they’ve got those heavy curtains that actually block out the morning light if you want to sleep in. I appreciated the little touches too – decent coffee in the cupboard, extra blankets that don’t smell musty, a shower with proper water pressure. These things sound basic, but you’d be amazed how many places get them wrong.

  The apartment is located in a quiet house close to the Old Town, just a 15-minute walk. The instructions about how to get there were sent in advance and were very clear. The place itself was very cozy, and the hosts seemed to take care of everything and thought of each detail. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom – nice and clean. There are lots of markets nearby. You'll have access to Netflix, Youtube and will have even some cereals for breakfast in addition to tea/coffee etc 🙂

  Good location and close to tram stops. Walkable to Wawel and the Main Square (I don't mind walking !)

  There is a great "self service" restaurant in the next street (Polakowski restaurant on Miodowa) serving good food at cheap recipes, and Pod Temida near the main square is also a great "cheap eat"!
