You know what struck me first about Rajska 3? The address itself – I mean, you’re literally on one of those cobblestone streets that feels like it hasn’t changed much since medieval times, but somehow this place manages to be thoroughly modern inside. It’s tucked right in Old Town proper, which honestly can be hit or miss with tourist traps, but this spot actually gets it right.

The apartment itself is way more spacious than you’d expect for a European city center stay. I’m talking real kitchen space (not just a hot plate shoved in a corner), and the bathroom – well, let’s just say you won’t be doing that awkward shower-curtain dance trying not to flood everything. The whole place has this clean, minimalist vibe that somehow doesn’t feel cold or sterile. Maybe it’s the way the light hits those big windows, or how they’ve managed to blend contemporary furnishings with just enough character so you don’t forget you’re in Krakow. The beds are actually comfortable too, which… look, I’ve stayed in enough European apartments to know that’s not always a given.

What really sold me on this place though is how it sits in the neighborhood. You’re about a three-minute walk from the Main Square – I timed it because I’m that person – but far enough off Floriańska Street that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups. Mornings are particularly nice; you can grab coffee from that little place on the corner (the owner speaks perfect English, by the way) and wander toward Planty Park before the day crowds show up. Evenings are where it really shines though. You’ll hear some street noise – it’s Old Town, not a monastery – but nothing that kept me up. Actually, I found the distant sounds of people enjoying themselves kind of charming, though I suppose that depends on your noise tolerance. Parking is… well, it’s Old Town, so manage expectations. But honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car anyway. The tram stops are close, and everything worth seeing is walkable. I spent most of my time just wandering the side streets, discovering those tiny galleries and wine bars that don’t make it into guidebooks. That’s the thing about staying somewhere like this – you end up exploring like a local instead of just hitting the major sights and calling it done.

  It was clean, the location is great and there’s a really nice pizza place on the first floor.
