The riverside location definitely lives up to its name – I could actually hear water flowing when I had the windows open, which was pretty nice for falling asleep. The apartments themselves feel lived-in rather than hotel-sterile, if that makes sense. Real kitchen stuff you can actually use, not those sad little coffee makers and mini fridges. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple times because, well, why not?

What really sold me on this place was the small stuff that shows someone’s actually thinking about the guest experience. Check-in was straightforward – no weird lobby scene where you’re standing around with your luggage feeling awkward. The Upstairs management seems to have figured out that people staying in apartment-style places usually want a bit more independence, so they’re not hovering but they’re definitely around if you need something. Honestly, for a 3-star place, the 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it’s doing what it does really well. The Wi-Fi actually works (I know, revolutionary), the water pressure’s decent, and everything feels clean without that aggressive disinfectant smell some places have. I did notice the walls could be a bit thicker – you might hear your neighbors if they’re having a particularly animated phone conversation – but it’s nothing terrible. If you’re looking for that apartment vibe without the hassle of dealing with random Airbnb hosts, this place hits that sweet spot. Plus, having a proper kitchen means you can grab groceries and actually save some money instead of eating out every meal, which your wallet will definitely appreciate.

  Property was located centrally, very easy to walk to everything, grocery store within 5 minutes, tons of restaurants, old town Krakow was approx 20 minutes walk, property was very spacious and clean. Decorated very nicely, access was easy. Hosts provided some basic necessities – coffee, laundry pod, dishwasher pod, etc. Beds were comfortable. I would stay here again if I visited Krakow.

  It was a perfect place for 7 people to enjoy Krakow. The city has benn for 10 minutes walk through the Vistula; quit street. High level, contemporary designed flat with a lot of "wabisabi". Cool, comfotable beds and sofas, comfortable bathroom, modern kitchen.
  We could spend perfect time both inside and outside together.
