Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places claiming “luxury” in Krakow, but this apartment actually delivers on that promise – and honestly, the location is what sold me from the moment I walked in. You’re literally staring at Wawel Castle from multiple windows, and I mean *really* looking at it, not some distant glimpse you have to crane your neck to see. The apartment sits high enough that you feel like you’re floating above the Old Town chaos, but you’re still close enough to walk to the main square in maybe eight minutes.

The jacuzzi situation is legit, by the way. I was skeptical because, you know, apartment jacuzzis can be hit or miss, but this one’s properly maintained and actually fits two people comfortably (learned that the hard way in other places). What really impressed me was how they’ve designed the space around those views – the jacuzzi placement lets you soak while watching the sunset hit the castle walls, which sounds cheesy but is actually pretty magical. The whole apartment feels thoughtfully put together rather than just expensive furniture thrown into a space. The kitchen’s fully equipped if you want to grab groceries from the little market on Grodzka Street, though honestly, with all the restaurants within walking distance, I barely used it except for morning coffee.

Here’s what they don’t tell you in most reviews – parking can be tricky in this part of town, so definitely ask about that ahead of time. The building itself is one of those beautifully restored historic ones, which means thick walls (great for blocking out street noise) but also means the elevator is tiny and the stairs are narrow if you’re hauling big suitcases. The check-in was smooth, though – the owner actually met me there and walked through everything, including how to work the jacuzzi controls and the best times to hit the rooftop area without crowds. Spring and early fall are perfect here because you can keep the windows open and just listen to the city settling down in the evenings, but even in winter, that heated space with the castle views makes you feel like you’ve found some secret spot that regular tourists miss. It’s pricey, sure, but for a special trip or if you’re trying to impress someone, this place does something most hotels can’t – it makes you feel like you’re living in Krakow rather than just visiting it.
