The rooms have this clean, minimalist thing going on that I really appreciated after staying at some overly fussy boutique places recently. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen rather than just thrown together from a hotel supply catalog. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about this – bad backs run in my family), and they’ve got these blackout curtains that actually work, which is huge if you’re dealing with jet lag or just want to sleep past sunrise. What I loved most was how quiet it stays throughout the night – you’d expect more noise issues with a corner location, but whatever they’ve done with the windows really works.

The staff deserves a mention because they operate more like locals helping out friends than typical hotel employees. When I asked about getting around the area, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a generic tourist map – he actually sketched out a walking route and mentioned which streets get crazy busy during rush hour. Little things like that make such a difference when you’re trying to navigate a new place. Check-in was smooth, none of that “your room isn’t ready yet” drama even though I showed up earlier than planned.

I mean, it’s definitely a three-star place in terms of amenities – don’t expect a spa or room service or anything fancy like that. But that 8.7 rating makes total sense once you spend a night or two there. It’s the kind of spot where they focus on getting the basics absolutely right instead of adding a bunch of bells and whistles that half-work. The shower pressure is excellent (seriously, why do so many hotels mess this up?), the WiFi actually reaches every corner of the room, and housekeeping pays attention to details without being intrusive.

The location works really well if you want to be in the mix of things but not right in the tourist chaos. You’re close enough to walk to the main attractions without dealing with the constant noise and crowds that come with staying right in the thick of everything. I found myself using it as a home base for day trips, then coming back to decompress without feeling like I was missing out on the energy of the area.

  Location was perfect for easy access to everything. It was a short walk to the beautiful Main Square. Two great breakfast cafes nearby, and pubs too. We loved the view of the twin spires of St Mary’s Basilica from our window! The room was warm and spacious, with coffee and teabags provided. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was great. Loved the room decor – very cool!

  We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness of the smallest details. Very clean apartment with embroidered logos on blankets and pillows, like in expensive hotels. Lots of new and clean utensils and even very tasty ground coffee in a jar made every morning unforgettable. Perfect location: 10 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from the main square. And a beautiful view from the window! The apartment surpassed my expectations! Saint Thomas Corner is the best option in terms of price and quality in Krakow!

  This is a fabulous place to stay. The room was small, but it was clean, comfortable and a good location after a long day of travel. The hotel was very accomodating of me checking in early, which I was very grateful for and cannot recommend this place enough. Great access to the old town, some lovely walks and restaurants nearby.
