Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Sarah Apartments on Miodowa Street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries happen when your expectations are modest. This little spot sits right in the heart of Krakow’s Old Town, and I mean *right in it* – you’re maybe a 4-minute walk from the main square, close enough that you can actually hear the trumpet call from St. Mary’s Tower if you crack open your window in the morning.

The thing about Miodowa Street is that it’s one of those cobblestone lanes that tourists walk down but don’t really pay attention to, which honestly works in your favor. You get all the medieval charm without the constant buzz of people taking selfies outside your door. The apartments themselves are exactly what you’d hope for in a converted Old Town building – high ceilings, thick walls (thank god, because those cobblestones can get noisy), and windows that actually open properly. My room had this quirky little kitchenette that was way more functional than I expected, though I’ll warn you the coffee maker is one of those tiny European ones, so don’t plan on making a full pot. The bathroom was small but well-designed – clearly someone thought about how to maximize the space without making you feel like you’re showering in a closet.

What really won me over was how the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood. When I asked about dinner recommendations, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a brochure – he told me which pierogi place the locals go to (it’s around the corner on Floriańska) and warned me that the restaurant downstairs gets pretty lively on weekend nights, but quiets down by 10 PM. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here a couple nights; it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works the way it should. The WiFi is solid, the beds are comfortable enough that I actually slept well despite being excited about exploring the city, and there’s this nice attention to detail – like having enough electrical outlets and proper reading lights. I mean, you’re staying in a building that’s probably older than most American cities, so you can’t expect everything to be perfectly modern, but they’ve done a really good job updating things where it matters. If you’re the type who needs a gym and room service, this isn’t your place. But if you want to wake up in the actual Old Town, walk to everything worth seeing, and have a comfortable base that feels more like staying at a friend’s apartment than a sterile hotel room, Sarah Apartments gets it right.

  Good location, clean and had everything you need.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is quite difficult to find at night because the street numbering is a bit odd. It should be clear that Sarah's Apartments are actually contained within the Aaron's Aparthotel block and block B is around the back. Finally, when the apartment is unattended, the instructions to get in need to be crystal clear. There is a button that could be construed as a key but it is not immediately apparent that you must press this key on the keypad before entering the numerical code. i had to get assistance from a passerby and at night there weren't that many around. once you understand the code it is easy but it needs to be easy when you do it for the first time.

  Lovely compact apartment with everything we needed. Air-conditioning was exceptionally good and bed very comfortable. Would stay here again.

  The location was great, and it was easy to get anywhere we wanted. It seemed to be a good value for money, and we had a good stay. Grocery shop, some restaurants and bakeries nearby.
  
  What could be improved: Although we had some issues with the cleaning when we checked in, those were promptly fixed.

  The property was nice and clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing, had everything you needed!
  
  What could be improved: The name of the properly is incorrect, the actual name of it is Aaron apartments, when I arrived it took me over an hour to find it because it was wrongly advertised, this should have been made clear upon arrival as it is genuinely so confusing, I don’t understand why this isint stated at the beginning! The name should really be changed or made clear before check in!

  Location was fantastic! Shower was good, AC perfect and a comfy bed. Very nice to having a washer and drying rack.

  Perfect sized for 2 people. It was easy to get to and from as it is close to public transport. There is a shop located right underneath the building which is handy. The bed was very comfortable and shower was great, we had everything we needed.

  What could be improved: I was surprised we didn’t get a chance to meet staff. First time like that we received all codes to the property which felt bit unsecured. No matter of what, we’re very happy with our stay
