Sereno Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Sereno Apartments on a quiet cobblestone street in Kraków’s Old Town, you immediately get that “I’m staying somewhere special” feeling. The building has this understated charm — not flashy, but you can tell it’s been thoughtfully restored. What struck me right away was how peaceful it felt, even though you’re literally in the heart of one of Europe’s most visited historic centers. The entrance is tucked away just enough to feel like a local secret, but honestly, the location couldn’t be more central if they tried.
The Heart of Old Town
I mean, when couples are rating the location 8.7 out of 10, you know something’s working. You’re about a three-minute walk from the Main Market Square — close enough that you can pop back to drop off shopping bags, but far enough that you won’t hear the late-night revelry. The Royal Castle is practically around the corner, and there’s this lovely morning routine you can develop: grab coffee from one of the tiny cafés nearby, then wander through the castle grounds before the tour groups arrive. The Jewish Quarter is an easy stroll too, which I actually preferred to taking trams everywhere.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel room. Everything’s clean and functional — this is a three-star property, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or fancy toiletries, but the basics are all covered really well. The kitchen setup is perfect if you want to grab fresh bread and local cheese from the morning markets (and trust me, you’ll want to). I loved having the space to spread out a bit, especially after long days of sightseeing. The windows open onto the quiet street, and there’s something really satisfying about making your morning coffee while listening to the city wake up below.
Practical Perks
Here’s what I appreciated most — the little things that make a difference when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The wifi works properly (not always a given in these old buildings), and there’s enough parking nearby that you don’t have to stress about your car if you’re driving. The building stays quiet at night, which honestly surprised me given how central everything is. You know what else? The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward — no lengthy presentations about amenities you’ll never use, just helpful local tips and the keys to your space.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Sereno Apartments isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s a solid, well-located base for exploring Kraków without the fuss or expense of a full-service hotel. The combination of that prime Old Town location with the independence of having your own space really works — especially for couples who want to experience the city like locals rather than tourists. You’ll pay less than you would for comparable hotels in the area, but you won’t feel like you’re compromising on the things that actually matter: location, comfort, and having a peaceful retreat after busy days of exploring.
Krakow hotels provide guests with luxurious accommodations in Poland’s cultural capital, known for its perfectly preserved medieval architecture and rich royal history.

Reviews of Sereno Apartments
Lukas from Lithuania (7/10)
Apartment is near of city centre. And It cost only 35€, it was worth it
Julia from Poland (6/10)
Nice customer services, lady at the reception desk was very helpful and described everything with details. I was afraid that there might be cold in the room, what is typical to the apartments/rooms in such old buildings, where always was a problem with heating, however I was positively surprised.

The room was very cosy and had the utilities to prepare a quick breakfast – all that was missing was the food, but I did not expect it, nor did I miss it.
