Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from So Soho when I first walked up to the building on Dietla Street – the name sounds a bit trying-too-hard, you know? But the moment I stepped inside, I got it. This place actually lives up to that 9.3 rating, and I’m usually pretty skeptical of hotels that score that high. The lobby has this industrial-chic thing going on that could easily feel cold, but somehow it doesn’t. Maybe it’s the way the light filters through those big windows, or how the staff genuinely seems happy to see you rather than just going through the motions.
What really struck me was how they’ve managed to feel both trendy and authentically Krakovian at the same time. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Main Market Square – I timed it because I’m nerdy like that – but you’re not stuck in some tourist bubble. Dietla Street has actual life happening on it; there’s a fantastic pierogi spot just around the corner that I never would’ve found if I’d stayed in one of those cookie-cutter hotels closer to the square. The spa part of their “collection” isn’t just marketing fluff either – after spending a day wandering around the Jewish Quarter (which, by the way, is an easy stroll from here), that steam room was exactly what my feet needed. The whole spa area feels like a secret tucked away in the building’s lower level, all dim lighting and that eucalyptus smell that good spas always seem to have.
The rooms themselves are what sold me completely, though. Mine had these ridiculously high ceilings that made the space feel huge, even though it probably wasn’t any bigger than your average hotel room. The bathroom – and this might sound weird – had the best shower pressure I’ve encountered in Europe. Sometimes it’s the little things, right? I also appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with the “loft” theme; yes, there are exposed brick walls and industrial fixtures, but they added enough warmth that it feels like a place you’d actually want to live, not some stark design magazine spread. The bed was one of those where you sink in just enough without feeling like you’re being swallowed alive. Parking was surprisingly straightforward too – they’ve got a garage situation figured out, which if you’ve ever tried to drive in Krakow’s Old Town, you’ll know is basically a miracle. The only minor thing I’d mention is that weekend nights can get a bit lively on the street below, but honestly, that’s part of staying somewhere with actual neighborhood character rather than some sterile business district.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Krakow at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near Market Square.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodation is really clean and comfortable
The spa area was exceptional and really added to the quality of our stay
What could be improved: There was very little storage space in our apartment, which could be easily rectified with some shelves.Perfect location, everything we needed. – Hilary from Lithuania – August 14, 2025 (9/10)
Clean, modern. Small but decent gym and pool. Great location for accessing old town and the sights.

Amazing stay, nearby everything by walk. Kamila and the rest of the staff were very helpful and gives good advices. The apartment is really confortable, quiet and very clean. A nice room downstair is available to work in very good conditions. The spa is a real plus. We’ve spent 3 nights in So Soho apartment and we’ve regretted not to spend more time there. We can only recommend
What could be improved: nothingExceptional – Chris from United Kingdom – August 8, 2025 (10/10)
The full hotel with spa
Very Good – Agnieszka from Netherlands – August 4, 2025 (8/10)
It was really clean and white well located
What could be improved: Small sauna arena, tiny swimming pool, just for 2 people max, should be rented per our per room, so intimate, sauna broken, open only from 12 noon (?) – really not up to expectationsWonderful – Pachomova from Lithuania – August 4, 2025 (9/10)
Nicely decorated rooms, very clean, nice spa area and gym for basic work out. A lot of good places to eat, not “tourist trap” area in general.
What could be improved: Fire alert in the early morning. As I understand its a know issue there, since the hotel sends message informing about sensitivity of fire alarms.
