You know what surprised me most about this place? The moment I walked in, it actually felt like someone’s home – not in a messy way, but in that comfortable, lived-in way where you can immediately picture yourself sprawling on the couch with takeout from the nearby restaurants. The space is genuinely roomy (and I mean actually spacious, not “cozy” which usually translates to “you’ll bump your elbows”), with these tall windows that flood the apartment with natural light during the day.

The location is honestly perfect if you’re the type who wants to dive right into Krakow without dealing with trams every five minutes. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the main train station – I timed it because I’m weird like that – which means you can stumble out with your luggage and be horizontal within ten minutes of arriving in the city. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: being this close to Dworzec Główny means you’re also right next to Galeria Krakowska, which becomes incredibly handy when you need everything from groceries to last-minute souvenirs. I spent way too much time in that Carrefour on the lower level, honestly. The Old Town is right there too – you can walk to the Main Square in about eight minutes, though you’ll probably get distracted by all the little streets branching off Szlak.

What really sold me on the place was how quiet it manages to be despite being so central. I was worried about train noise, but the apartment faces away from the main tracks, so you get this weird peaceful bubble in the middle of everything. The kitchen is actually functional (shocking, I know) – I made proper meals instead of surviving on pierogi alone, though let’s be real, the pierogi from the place around the corner on Basztowa was pretty tempting. Check-in was smooth, parking… well, that’s Krakow’s old town for you, but there’s a garage nearby if you’re driving. The whole setup just works, you know? It’s one of those places where you forget you’re staying in tourist accommodation because everything feels so normal and unforced. Plus, with a 9.2 rating, I clearly wasn’t the only one who felt like they’d lucked into something good.
