St Agnes Apartments Old Town Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to St Agnes Apartments Old Town on Swietej Agnieszki street, you immediately know you’ve found something special. This three-star property sits right in the medieval heart of Kraków, and I mean literally — you’re surrounded by cobblestone streets and centuries-old architecture. The building itself has that authentic Polish charm without feeling stuffy or overly touristy, which honestly can be hard to find in this part of the city. Every corner reveals another layer of history, from the exposed brick walls to the original wooden beams that frame the windows.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what I love about the location — you can walk to the Main Market Square in about three minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear the late-night revelry from the tourist bars. The apartment setup means you get more space than a typical hotel room, which is perfect if you’re planning to spend a few days exploring. You know what’s really convenient? There’s a small grocery store just around the corner, so you can actually use that kitchenette if you want to save some money on meals or just grab breakfast supplies. The neighborhood feels genuinely lived-in, with local cafes and shops that give you a real sense of how residents experience the Old Town.
The Space Itself
The apartments are surprisingly well-designed for the price point. I was expecting something basic, but the beds are genuinely comfortable — and trust me, after walking around Kraków’s Old Town all day, you’ll appreciate that. The kitchenette has everything you actually need (not just the bare minimum), and there’s enough seating space that it doesn’t feel cramped. The bathrooms are modern and clean, which might sound obvious but isn’t always guaranteed in historic buildings like this. Natural light floods through the windows, making even the smaller units feel bright and welcoming.
What Makes It Work
The staff really knows their stuff about the neighborhood — they’ll point you toward the better pierogi places that locals actually go to, not just the obvious tourist spots. Parking can be tricky in this part of town (it’s the Old Town, after all), but they’ll help you figure out the best options nearby. The whole setup feels more like staying in a friend’s place than a hotel, which some people love and others might find too informal — depends what you’re looking for. This personal touch extends to thoughtful details like local maps and insider recommendations that make your stay feel uniquely tailored.
Why Guests Love It
Couples especially seem to get it — there’s something romantic about having your own little space in one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval cities. The location truly shines; you really can walk everywhere that matters in the historic center. Plus, at this price point, you’re getting way more value than you’d find at a traditional hotel in the same area. It’s not fancy, but it’s authentic, comfortable, and puts you right where you want to be in Kraków. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or a longer cultural exploration, these apartments deliver on both comfort and convenience.

Our weekend stay in Krakow was simply amazing! The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with the best part being its prime location—right in the heart of the city. I was even lucky enough to have a parking spot right at the entrance of the hotel. The TV and phone connection worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spacious and very comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience in every way!

Bathroom was amazing, the walk-in shower was incredible.

It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Loved the location too – a short walk to the old town. The studio is quite small, but perfectly formed.

The location was perfect, around 10 min walk to the Jewish Quarter, 5 min to Wawel Castle, 10 min walk to the Old town square. There are also several cafes and bars within a few minutes of the apartment.
The owner allowed us to check in early around 1pm and provided access codes by text message for the front door and another code for our apartment which was great as we were exhausted from an early hours flight.
The apartment was an ample size with a kitchen area separated with a large wardrobe. The shower room was great, plenty of toilet rolls, shower gel and shampoo supplied which was a nice touch as I hadn't brought any. It was really quiet away from the hustle and bustle, we had a deluxe room which was on the ground floor with a seperate access off the rear garden which was nice.Amelia from Ireland (8/10)
The old stone wall is beautiful. Bed very comfortable. Good value for money 🫶
