St Agnes Apartments Old Town Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “St Agnes Apartments Old Town,” I was expecting some tired old building with creaky floors and questionable plumbing. Boy, was I wrong. This place completely caught me off guard in the best way possible.

What you’re getting here is basically the sweet spot between having your own space and still feeling connected to the neighborhood pulse. The apartments – and I mean actual apartments, not tiny hotel rooms masquerading as suites – give you room to breathe. You know what I love? You can actually unpack your suitcase properly, spread out your stuff, maybe grab some groceries and cook breakfast without feeling cramped. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either; they’ve got everything you actually need (though honestly, with all the local spots within walking distance, you might not use it much). The whole setup feels like you’re borrowing a friend’s place rather than staying in some sterile hotel.

The Old Town location is where this place really shines, and I mean that literally – the morning light filtering through these old streets is something else. You’re right in the thick of things without being on top of a noisy main drag. I’ve stayed here during both shoulder season and peak summer, and while it definitely gets livelier in July, it never felt overwhelming. The stone buildings around here do a surprisingly good job of keeping things relatively quiet, especially at night. What really sold me was stumbling out for coffee one morning and realizing I was a two-minute walk from that little bakery everyone raves about (you’ll smell it before you see it), and the main square is close enough that you can pop over whenever but far enough that you’re not dealing with tour groups right outside your window. The 9.2 rating honestly makes sense once you spend a few days here – it’s one of those places where all the little details just work. Check-in was smooth, the staff actually knew the neighborhood well enough to give solid recommendations, and I never had to worry about things like hot water or WiFi cutting out. Sure, it’s not fancy in a marble-lobby kind of way, but it’s got character and comfort nailed down perfectly.

Our weekend stay in Krakow was simply amazing! The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with the best part being its prime location—right in the heart of the city. I was even lucky enough to have a parking spot right at the entrance of the hotel. The TV and phone connection worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spacious and very comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience in every way!

Bathroom was amazing, the walk-in shower was incredible.

  • Kate from United Kingdom (10/10)

It was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Loved the location too – a short walk to the old town. The studio is quite small, but perfectly formed.

The location was perfect, around 10 min walk to the Jewish Quarter, 5 min to Wawel Castle, 10 min walk to the Old town square. There are also several cafes and bars within a few minutes of the apartment.

The owner allowed us to check in early around 1pm and provided access codes by text message for the front door and another code for our apartment which was great as we were exhausted from an early hours flight.

The apartment was an ample size with a kitchen area separated with a large wardrobe. The shower room was great, plenty of toilet rolls, shower gel and shampoo supplied which was a nice touch as I hadn't brought any. It was really quiet away from the hustle and bustle, we had a deluxe room which was on the ground floor with a seperate access off the rear garden which was nice.
