It turned out to be one of those happy accidents that make you feel like you actually know what you’re doing when you travel. The building sits right in the heart of Old Town – and I mean *right* in it, not one of those “Old Town adjacent” places that’s actually a twenty-minute schlep from anything interesting.

The apartments themselves are pretty straightforward, nothing fancy but definitely clean and functional in that Eastern European way where everything just works without any fuss. You know what I really appreciated? The windows are thick enough that you don’t get woken up by the clip-clop of horse carriages at 6 AM (learned that lesson the hard way at another place). The kitchen setup is actually useful – I mean, you can cook real food, not just heat up instant noodles. There’s this nice moment in the morning when you can make proper coffee and watch the early risers heading to Market Square through your window. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to figure out bus schedules or book that salt mine tour everyone talks about.

What really won me over was the location specifics that you don’t realize until you’re there. You’re literally a three-minute walk from Florianska Street, so you can duck into that amazing pierogi place (the one with no English menu but the babcia behind the counter who somehow knows exactly what you want) whenever hunger strikes. The Barbican is right there too – perfect for those evening walks when the tour groups have cleared out and you can actually appreciate how wild it is that these medieval walls are just… there. Parking is tricky, I’ll be honest, but there’s a garage about five minutes away that won’t completely destroy your budget. The 7.7 rating makes sense to me – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but it does everything it promises to do without any unpleasant surprises. Check-in was refreshingly simple, and the person managing the property actually answered their phone when I called about getting in early. Sometimes that’s all you really need, you know?

  had all the rooms we needed, and it is a lovely touch with supply of coffee and tea bag’s and sugar. also supply of tablets for the dish washer and kitchen roll and toilet roll.

  It was very clean, warm and a good location for the City Centre. Staff were very helpful with arrangements and very good communication.
  
  What could be improved: No living room, there was no sofa or chill out area. The photos on Booking.Com didn’t accurately show the apartment we stayed in. Also on the Friday Night had to put up with very noisy guests in the adjacent apartment. Supposed to be quiet time after 10pm – none of my party of 4 got any sleep. Thought it would be more modern. looked quite tired and the door to the apartment was unsafe didn’t shut properly. Also the main door to all the apartments had a code to get it, however it just stayed open all the time. To be honest I wouldn’t stay again.

  Great location, spacious apartment and very, very warm. The apartment was great for what we needed.
  
  What could be improved: The shower holder was broken during our stay, the shower itself still worked though. It should be noted too that the pictures show much more decoration than is currently in the apartments, all cushions, flowers, decoration has been removed.

  The apartment is well located, few minutes walk from Old Town. It is pretty big, so able to accomodate larger group of friends/families. The rooms are quite spacious, so you have the chance to arrange all your belongings without impacting the 'living' area
  
  What could be improved: We had to call the reception cause the boiler didn't work one morning. But they intervened and fixed it so no big issues at the end.

  it is only a 8 minute walk to krakow square
  quicker is you take a scooter which are easy to set up
  it’s a small apartment but ideal for people who want to explore the city and have somewhere to rest.

  Very spacious, very close to the city centre and easy to check in and out. Good facilities in the kitchen.

  The apartment located by the calm street but still only 10 mins away the main railway station and the main square.

  What could be improved: The nights were a bit noisy because of the homecoming people. They also rang our doorbeel several times during the nights. The silence hours were supposed to be from 10 pm to 6 am but unfortunatelly this didn't work out.
