Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “serviced apartments,” I was expecting something pretty bland and corporate. But STRADONIA actually surprised me in the best way possible. You know how some places try too hard to be everything to everyone? This isn’t one of those. It’s got this understated confidence that just works.

The moment you walk into your apartment (and I mean apartment, not some cramped hotel room), you get why this place scored a 9.4. The space feels lived-in but pristine – if that makes sense. Like, the kitchen actually has proper knives and more than two plates, which honestly made my week since I’m one of those travelers who gets tired of eating out every single meal. The living areas have this sort of modern European vibe without being cold or sterile. I spent way too much time just lounging on their couch, which is something I rarely do in hotels because hotel furniture is usually terrible.

What really got me though was the attention to small things that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. The washing machine (yes, your own washing machine) was a game-changer, and the WiFi actually worked properly in every corner of the apartment – I’m talking seamless video calls from the bedroom at 2 PM when everyone else in the world is online. The staff has this nice balance of being helpful without hovering. Check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about the TV setup, someone came up within like ten minutes.

I mean, four stars might not sound super impressive on paper, but sometimes those mid-tier ratings are where you find the real gems. The places that focus on doing everything well instead of just looking fancy in photos. STRADONIA feels like the kind of spot where business travelers become regulars and families actually relax instead of just surviving their vacation. If you’re the type who values having your own space and doing some things on your own timeline – maybe making coffee at 6 AM without getting dressed or spreading work stuff across a proper dining table – you’ll probably love it here. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it might just be the most comfortable.

  Stradova apartments was absolutely charming, well managed and in a great location. My room was clean, very comfortable and generously stocked. The lovely balcony had a nice sitting area and looked out to the castle and church. The location was perfect – walking distance to the castle, Main Square and Historical Jewish area. The friendly staff were very polite and helpful. I travel all over the world and this was one of my favourite places to stay!

  We had a nice room on the second floor, there was a big bed which was only accesible from one side. The room was clean and had all we needed for the trip. Location wise it was a short walk to all the relevant tourist areas of Krakow.
