Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Szeroka 33 D-F? The name makes it sound way more complicated than it actually is. I mean, it’s basically just a solid apartment-style place tucked into what I’m guessing is Krakow’s old Jewish quarter – Szeroka street is right in the heart of Kazimierz, and honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better spot to base yourself if you want to really explore the city.
The building itself has that Eastern European charm where everything feels substantial and a bit weathered in the best possible way. When I walked in, there was this particular smell – not bad, just that old-building scent mixed with cleaning products that somehow felt reassuring. The 3-star rating is pretty accurate; don’t expect marble lobbies or concierge service, but what you get is actually better in some ways. These are proper apartments with kitchens and real living spaces, which – let’s be honest – beats a cramped hotel room when you’re staying more than a couple nights. The 7.0 rating seems about right too; it’s good, solidly good, but there are probably some quirks that keep it from being exceptional.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re literally in the middle of one of Krakow’s most happening neighborhoods. During the day you’ll hear the usual city sounds – trams clanking by, people chatting as they head to the synagogues or that famous Plac Nowy market – but once evening settles in, it’s surprisingly peaceful. The walls seem thick enough to muffle most of the noise from other units, though I did notice some creaking floors above me (old buildings, you know?). Check-in was straightforward enough, though I’d recommend confirming the exact entrance beforehand because these old Kazimierz buildings can be a maze of courtyards and doorways. Parking might be tricky – this part of town wasn’t exactly designed for cars, so you’ll probably end up walking a few blocks from wherever you manage to squeeze your rental car. But honestly, that’s half the charm of staying here. You’re close enough to walk to Wawel Castle, the main square is maybe fifteen minutes on foot, and you’ve got all these incredible little restaurants and bars practically on your doorstep. The whole area has this lived-in authenticity that the more touristy parts of Krakow sometimes lack – you’ll see actual locals going about their daily business, not just other travelers taking selfies.

Lovely place right in the heart of the Jewish Quarter in Krakow. Despite being an older building, accommodation was really comfortable with a bed, couch, table, etc. The bathroom had the perfect size and was nice and clean. The balcony was small, but the perfect size for 2 people facing the quiet back area. 15 minutes walking distance to old town of Krakow

The location was great. It's in the middle of the Kazimierz and easy to get anywhere else in Krakow from there.

Location was great, it’s been always my favourite part of Kazimierz

The location of this place is excellent. Understanding the instructions for the check-in and the checking out was very easy. Communication with the host was through messages, which was comfortable. Two nearby food-truck markets were really good and were working late into the night.

Super old antique house. If you are a fan of old stuff, this place is for you. Like an old but functioning radio, old bed and furniture, etc
The location is very nice and lively. Full of bars, restaurants and food trucks around
You get a discount code for breakfast in a bar close by.
There is a little fridge in the room and a microwave in the corridor.
There are 3 rooms in the hallway, so it doesn't get noisy.
Good wifi.Олена from Ukraine (8/10)

Ewan from United Kingdom (8/10)
Location was really good. In a busy area of town with lots going on but also quiet at night which was also good. 20 minute walk from the Old Town (even less by scooter or public transport which is easy to use). Thoroughly recommend for the price you pay for what it is if you are looking to keep it cheap. If you have a busy trip planned and want a place to just sleep, this would definitely be worth looking into.
