Honestly, I walked past SZEWSKA 22 BOUTIQUE three times before I realized I’d found my hotel – it’s tucked into this beautiful old building on Szewska Street that blends so seamlessly with the medieval architecture you’d think it’s been there for centuries. Which, well, the building probably has been. The entrance is subtle in that way boutique places do best, where you feel like you’re discovering some local secret rather than checking into a tourist trap. And that 9.1 rating? Yeah, it makes sense once you’re inside.

The thing about staying right in Old Town is that you’re literally surrounded by everything that makes Krakow magical, but you’re also dealing with cobblestones and crowds. What I loved about this place is how they’ve managed to create this peaceful bubble while keeping you in the heart of everything. You’re maybe a three-minute walk to the Main Square – I mean, you can practically hear the trumpet call from St. Mary’s if you listen carefully – but once you step inside, there’s this immediate sense of calm. The rooms have this sophisticated Polish style that doesn’t feel over-designed, if that makes sense. Real attention to detail without trying too hard, which is harder to pull off than you’d think.

I’ll be honest, parking in this part of town is basically impossible, so don’t even think about driving here – but that’s true anywhere in the Old Town, not just this hotel. What actually impressed me was how helpful the staff were about getting around. They knew which tram lines were running late (apparently the 8 line has issues on weekends), where to get the best oscypek without paying tourist prices, and – this was clutch – which entrance to use for Wawel Castle to avoid the worst crowds. You know what really sold me on this place though? The little things. The coffee in the morning was actually good coffee, not hotel lobby swill. The Wi-Fi worked everywhere, including the bathroom (don’t judge me). And the beds… honestly, after walking around on cobblestones all day, sinking into those beds felt like a small miracle. There’s something to be said for a place that understands that luxury doesn’t have to be flashy – sometimes it’s just about getting the fundamentals absolutely right in a setting that feels authentically Krakow.

  Everything. The hotel was inside the green ring, in old town. You can walk to all important sights. The room was spacious , clean, and modern. If we ever come back, this is our place to stay. Thank You Szewska 22 boutique hotel, for the lovely stay.

  Beautiful, stylish, comfortable (functional) rooms.
  
  What could be improved: No water glasses in rooms. Most people like to sleep with a glass of water by the bed. Lovely we could leave our bags there and walk around before leaving Krakow but most people, on returning would need to go to the bathroom. Having no facilities in reception was a disappointment.

  Szewska 22 Boutique in Krakow is an exceptional boutique hotel with prime location and outstanding comfort. Situated just a few steps from Krakow’s Main Square, it offers convenient access to the city’s historic Old Town and numerous restaurants, shops, and cultural attractions.
  
  The room was spacious, tastefully decorated with a contemporary style, and equipped with luxurious amenities like super king-size bed, air conditioning, soundproof windows, flat-screen TVs with Netflix, mini fridge, and complimentary toiletries. The rooms provide a very comfortable and quiet environment despite the central location.
  
  The hotel staff was friendly, helpful, and assisting with local recommendations or transport. Breakfast was served at a nearby restaurant and it was good quality and friendly service.
  
  Overall, Szewska 22 Boutique is excellent, with the perfect combination of location, comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality, making it an ideal base for exploring Krakow for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel is a hidden gem and definitively will come back again.

  Fantastic location just off the main square. Loved the decor in the hotel, room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely return. Couldn’t have wished for any better!

  What an amazing place to stay! The bed was so comfortable, the room had everything we needed, such a kettle, bottled water, tea, coffee, hair dryer, spare pillows an air con. It is very centrally located for the old town with everything within walking distance. It was also great for getting the tram, ordering a bold and 25 min walk from the main train station. The staff on reception were very responsive to messages before we arrived, and informed us we could check in early. Wonderful breakfast in a lovely restaurant a stones throw from the main entrance.
