Tenement Apartment 90m2 City Center Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Tenement Apartment” in the name, I wasn’t expecting much. But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s one of those converted old buildings right in the city center that somehow manages to feel both authentic and comfortable at the same time. The 90 square meters gives you actual room to breathe, which is pretty rare when you’re staying dead center in most European cities.
What struck me first was how the space is laid out – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works. The kitchen actually has proper counter space (you know how hotel kitchenettes usually have like, six inches?), and there’s this lived-in quality that makes you feel like a temporary local rather than a tourist passing through. The windows are these big, old-school ones that let in tons of light during the day, though fair warning – if you’re sensitive to street noise, the city center location means you’ll hear some life happening outside, especially on weekend nights. I mean, that’s part of the charm for me, but worth knowing.
The thing about staying here is you’re genuinely in the thick of things. I could walk to three different coffee shops within two minutes, and there’s this little bakery around the corner that locals actually go to – not the touristy places with English menus, but the kind where you point at what looks good and hope for the best. That 8.7 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there a few days. It’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done. The shower has decent water pressure (honestly, this matters more than thread count when you’re traveling), and the bed is comfortable enough that I wasn’t thinking about it, which is really all you want. There are these little touches too – like proper hangers in the closet instead of those weird hotel ones, and outlet placement that actually makes sense for charging your devices.
What really won me over was how the place strikes this balance between giving you independence and still feeling supported. Check-in was straightforward, no hovering or upselling, just here’s your key and here’s how things work. The building itself has character – you can tell it has history without feeling like you’re staying in a museum. And honestly, for a 3-star place, it punches above its weight. You’re not getting a concierge or daily housekeeping, but you’re getting something better: a genuine feel for what it’s like to actually live in the city center, even if it’s just for a week. If you’re the type who likes to duck out for groceries and cook a simple breakfast while planning your day, this kind of setup is perfect. Just don’t expect luxury amenities – expect something real, comfortable, and surprisingly well thought out.
Hotel in Krakow booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural festivals and medieval celebrations.

The location was pretty good, slightly out of the main centre but still easy to walk and within close distance of public transport to/from the airport or main town. Apartment was airy, warm and comfortable and the communication was great. We also loved having the kitchen to make our food and the living area for playing games.

The owner went out of her way to accommodate my last minute booking. She even cleaned the apartment as soon as previous renters left so that I could come before the official check in time )I had a back injury and had to rest). I truly appreciated her kindness.
James from United Kingdom (7/10)
The location was convenient for the town centre (5-10 mins walk) and the river (5min walk). Apartment was roomy and the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was clean on arrival. Despite the busy road, when the front windows were closed, the traffic did not disturb.
