The building sits on one of those streets that feels properly Polish without being touristy, if that makes sense. You’ve got locals heading to work in the morning, the occasional tram rumbling by, but it’s not chaotic like some of the main drags.

What really got me was stepping out onto that terrace – and I mean, it’s not just some tiny balcony they’re calling a terrace. There’s actual space to spread out, have your morning coffee, maybe even work outside if you’re one of those digital nomad types. The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there (in a good way), not like those sterile places that scream “rental property.” The kitchen’s got everything you need if you want to cook – which honestly, I recommend doing at least once since there’s a decent market just a few blocks over on Gesia street where you can grab fresh stuff. The whole place is clean without being obsessively sanitized, and the Wi-Fi actually works, which… well, you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case.

Here’s the thing though – Lubicz street puts you in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the Old Town without being right in the middle of all that tourist madness. It takes maybe fifteen minutes to get to the main square if you’re walking at a normal pace, but when you come back in the evening, you’re returning to an actual neighborhood. There’s a little café two doors down that opens early (like, really early – 6 AM early), and the owner speaks decent English if you need directions or recommendations. Parking can be a bit tricky during weekdays – most spots are for residents – but weekends are totally fine, and there’s always that paid lot near the corner if you’re desperate. The check-in was surprisingly smooth too; none of that awkward “meet me at this random location” stuff some apartment rentals put you through. One small thing – the shower pressure could be better, but honestly, after walking around all day, you’re just happy to get clean. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you want that feeling of actually living in the city for a few days instead of just visiting it.
