Hotel Description
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment rental on Gazowa Street, but TiB Apartament na Kazimierzu completely surprised me. The building itself is this classic Krakow townhouse – you’ll walk past it twice before you find the entrance because it blends right into the old architecture. But that’s actually part of its charm, honestly.
The location is pretty brilliant once you figure out the lay of the land. You’re literally in the heart of Kazimierz, which means you can stumble to Alchemia or Singer Café in about three minutes (I timed it). The Jewish quarter feels more authentic here than in some of the touristy spots – there’s this bakery around the corner on Miodowa where locals actually shop, and you’ll hear Polish conversations mixed with Hebrew prayers drifting from the synagogues in the morning. The apartment sits just far enough from the main Szeroka Square chaos that you won’t have drunk tourists singing under your window at 2 AM, but close enough that you’re never more than a five-minute walk from incredible pierogi.
What really got me was the attention to detail inside – I mean, someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need. The kitchen isn’t just for show; it’s got proper cookware and a coffee setup that doesn’t make you want to cry. The bathroom has decent water pressure (which, let’s be honest, isn’t always guaranteed in these old buildings), and there are enough outlets near the bed for all your devices without having to choose between charging your phone or your camera battery. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space, not just in one corner like some places I’ve stayed.
The host situation is refreshingly straightforward too – clear instructions, responsive when I had questions, none of that overly chatty-but-never-helpful stuff you sometimes get. Check-in was smooth, though you should definitely save their number in your phone because the building entrance can be a bit tricky to spot if you’re arriving after dark with luggage.
Honestly, the 9.5 rating makes sense when you stay here. It’s not trying to be fancy – there’s no doorman or marble lobby – but everything just works the way it should. The beds are comfortable, the neighborhood feels safe for wandering around at night (I’m a solo female traveler and felt totally fine), and you’re positioned perfectly for exploring both Kazimierz and the Old Town without feeling like you’re camping in a tourist trap. Plus, if you need groceries, there’s a Żabka convenience store practically next door and a proper market a few streets over where you can grab fresh bread and local cheese for breakfast on your little balcony.
Early hotels booking in Krakow requires advance planning during peak tourist seasons when visitors flock to see the city’s UNESCO-listed medieval center and royal landmarks.

Great weekend in Krakow ☺️ – Hailey from United Kingdom – May 26, 2025 (9/10)
Nice apartment for a weekend away. The apartment was well equipped, clean and in a good location. Would stay again.
What could be improved: We struggled with the entrance code to the building door. Also the door and locks to the apartment are very stiff/awkward.A pleasant stay in the center of the jewish quarter – Giancarlo from Italy – January 24, 2025 (10/10)
It’s very well located and also renovated, even if the building itself is old (as every building in that region) the apartment is modern and fresh.
What could be improved: The bath/shower that didn’t have much water pressure.Very Good – Gundega from Latvia – April 28, 2025 (8/10)
Very good location, easy to access. Comfortable bed. Good apartment for sleep overs for 2 persons. Apartment is good but not excellent. Good wifi service.
What could be improved: A lot of worn out things – duvet cover with stains, dishes/cups with chipped edges, old washing machine, bedroom is not seperated by doors. Was not possible to turn on drying rack (it was raining and our clothes were wet).Polecam – Marta from Poland – August 12, 2025 (10/10)

Foncez !
