Tomasza 20 Apartment Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Tomasza 20 Apartment, you immediately realize you’ve stumbled onto something special in Krakow’s Old Town. The building sits right on Świętego Tomasza street, and I mean right in the thick of everything — you can practically reach out and touch the medieval charm that makes this city so captivating. This four-star apartment feels more like a well-kept secret than a typical hotel, tucked into a historic building that’s been thoughtfully converted without losing its original character. The entrance has that old-world Polish elegance you hope for but rarely find executed this well.

Location That Actually Matters

Honestly, the location score of 9.9 isn’t just marketing fluff — it’s completely earned. You’re literally steps from the Main Market Square, which means you can roll out of bed and be at the Cloth Hall before the tour groups arrive. I found myself walking to St. Mary’s Basilica in under three minutes, and the entire Jewish Quarter is an easy stroll away. What couples especially love (and I can see why they rate it a perfect 10) is how you can duck back to the apartment between sightseeing and dinner, then head out for evening drinks without any hassle. The trams are close enough to reach other parts of Krakow, but far enough that you’re not dealing with noise.

The Apartment Experience

The space itself strikes that perfect balance between historic charm and modern comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in Old Town properties. You’ve got high ceilings and original architectural details, but also a fully equipped kitchen and contemporary bathroom that actually works properly. The apartment feels more spacious than you’d expect from the narrow street frontage — there’s room to spread out your things and actually live a bit, not just crash between tourist activities. The windows face the street, so you get those lovely Old Town views, though you’ll want to keep them closed if you’re a light sleeper since Świętego Tomasza can get lively in the evenings.

Practical Comforts

What I really appreciated was how well-equipped everything was for longer stays. The kitchen has proper cookware and dishes, which is perfect if you want to grab fresh bread and local cheese from the nearby market halls. The Wi-Fi actually works reliably (not always a given in these old buildings), and there’s decent storage space for your luggage. The heating system keeps things comfortable even during Krakow’s chilly months, and the hot water pressure is surprisingly good for a historic building. Small touches like quality linens and thoughtful lighting make it feel more upscale than many traditional hotels in the area.

Why Guests Love It

The 9.1 rating really comes down to this: Tomasza 20 Apartment gives you the authentic experience of living in Krakow’s Old Town without sacrificing comfort or convenience. You’re not just visiting the historic center — you’re actually staying in it, in a way that feels natural rather than touristy. Couples especially seem to love the romantic atmosphere and the freedom to create their own schedule, whether that’s morning coffee before the crowds arrive or late-night walks through the illuminated medieval streets. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like a temporary local rather than just another visitor passing through.

Reviews of Tomasza 20 Apartment

  • Znakomity obiekt w super cenie – Marzena from Poland – July 28, 2025 (10/10)

    Wszystko zapewnione

  • Bettee than expected great location – Mark from United Kingdom – July 14, 2025 (10/10)

Best location you could get really, large and spacious. Comfortable mattress but odd square pillows. Prefer the normal ones. Clean and Modern bettee than expected

What could be improved: The only thing I didn't like, which is nothing to do with the apartment, is the guy who plays the trumpet every hour from the main square. Plays it every hour all the way through the night as well. So if you are a light sleeper. Take ear plugs

  • Wonderful – Iván from Spain – July 11, 2025 (9/10)

  • Exceptional – Michal from United Kingdom – July 8, 2025 (10/10)

    Super

What could be improved: Wszystko oki

  • Fair – Julita from United Kingdom – June 28, 2025 (5/10)

  • Exceptional – István from Hungary – June 28, 2025 (10/10)

Dobrze wyposażone mieszkanie w samym centrum miasta. Dobry kontakt z właścicielem.
