You know what’s funny about Too-Good Apartments? The name actually undersells the place, which is pretty rare these days. I mean, when I first saw it listed as a 3-star property, I was expecting something pretty basic – maybe clean sheets and functioning wifi if I got lucky. But honestly, walking into this place was one of those pleasant surprises that makes you want to text your travel-obsessed friends immediately.

The thing that struck me right away was how the staff treats you like they’re genuinely happy you chose to stay there. Not that fake hospitality you get at chain hotels, but more like you’re visiting someone’s well-run guesthouse. The check-in was smooth – no unnecessary upselling or confusing explanations about amenities you’ll never use. They just got me settled and pointed out a few local spots worth checking out, including this little café around the corner that apparently makes incredible pastries in the morning (they were right, by the way). The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than luxurious. Everything works properly – and I mean everything, from the shower pressure to the air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine. The beds are actually comfortable, not just decent for the price range, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. What really got me was the attention to details that matter when you’re traveling – proper lighting for reading, enough outlets near the bed, and blackout curtains that actually block out light.

The whole place has this relaxed energy that’s hard to fake. I stayed there during what seemed like a busy period, but it never felt chaotic or rushed. You can tell the management knows what they’re doing because small things just work smoothly. The wifi is solid throughout the building, housekeeping is thorough without being intrusive, and the common areas stay clean even when there are clearly a lot of guests around. I’ve stayed in plenty of places with higher star ratings that felt more stressful than this. The location puts you close enough to interesting neighborhoods that you can walk to good restaurants and local spots, but far enough from the tourist crowds that you get a sense of what the area is actually like. I found myself coming back each evening looking forward to just relaxing there, which says something – usually hotel rooms are just places to sleep between activities. For a 3-star property pulling a 9.0 rating, Too-Good Apartments makes perfect sense once you experience it. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does, it does really well.

  100 Yards from the main square. Perfect location. Very clean and perfect for a couple. Has a great shower and all the utilities that you need for a comfortable stay.
  Next door to an Irish bar – very handy 😉 though you do not hear anything as the apartment is in the block at the back.
  Always very warm which is great after a day or night out in the cold.
  Shower was great – nice and warm with underfloor heating in the bathroom (I think)
  TV has access to Netflix and Amazon Prime etc which is handy after a long day/night out and about.

  Location is excellent, 2 mins from main square. Check in process was very simple and they were also very accommodating when leaving luggage for few hours on check out. 2 bedroom apartment offered plenty of space, was very comfortable and addition of coffee/tea was great.
