Walk five minutes toward Rynek and you hit the morning market vendors setting up their stalls – perfect for grabbing fresh bread and maybe some local cheese for breakfast. The train station proximity is genuinely useful too, not just for arriving and leaving, but because that whole area has this constant gentle buzz of people coming and going. There’s a little bar downstairs (well, technically next door) where locals actually drink, and the owner speaks enough English to help with directions but doesn’t hover. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that corporate key-card nonsense, just someone who knows the building showing you around. The stairwell smells faintly of old wood and coffee, which sounds weird but somehow works perfectly with the whole vibe. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted to feel less like a tourist and more like someone who just happens to be borrowing a friend’s apartment for a few days.
