The location is honestly perfect if you want to be right in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist trap chaos. I could walk to pretty much everything I wanted to see, and there’s this little bakery just around the corner that locals hit up for morning coffee – you’ll smell the bread baking if you open your windows early enough. The apartments themselves are clean and well-maintained (definitely lives up to that 8.5 rating), with kitchenettes that are actually functional – not just for show like some places. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple times because, well, why not? The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that endless paperwork dance you get at bigger hotels.

What really sold me was how quiet it gets at night, which is kind of miraculous considering you’re literally in Old Town. The building has thick walls, I guess, because even when there were people wandering around outside, I slept like a rock. During the day though, you get all that energy and street life right outside your door. Fair warning – parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but honestly, once you’re settled in here, you won’t need a car anyway. The staff actually knows the neighborhood and gave me solid recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re getting the real experience of the city, not some sanitized hotel version of it. For a 3-star place, it punches way above its weight.
