Tyzenhauz Apartments Piwna Street Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Tyzenhauz Apartments Piwna Street in Kraków, you immediately get that feeling you’ve stumbled onto something special. This three-star property sits right in Podgórze, which honestly feels like one of those neighborhoods that locals want to keep secret but can’t help bragging about. The building itself has that understated Polish charm — not flashy, but there’s something really solid and welcoming about it that puts you at ease from the moment you arrive.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re actually in one of Kraków’s most authentic districts, away from the tourist crowds but still incredibly well-connected. Podgórze has this amazing mix of local cafes, traditional Polish eateries, and some surprisingly good wine bars that most visitors never discover. The location score of 9.5 isn’t just numbers on a screen; you can walk to the main square in about 15 minutes, but you’ll also find yourself exploring the quieter streets where real Krakovians live and work. Couples especially seem to get this — they consistently rate the area 9.7, and I totally understand why.
The Apartment Experience
What sets Tyzenhauz apart is that you’re getting a proper apartment rather than just a hotel room. Each unit comes with its own kitchen, which means you can actually live like a local for a few days — grab fresh bread from the bakery down the street, pick up some Polish cheese from the market, and have breakfast at your own pace. The spaces feel genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, with thoughtful touches that show someone actually cares about your comfort. You know what I mean — good lighting, decent Wi-Fi, and enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.
Practical Comforts
The apartments strike that perfect balance between having everything you need without feeling overwhelming. Each place is well-equipped but not cluttered, and the housekeeping standards are consistently high — something that can be hit-or-miss with apartment-style accommodations. There’s reliable parking available, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Kraków’s old town by car will appreciate. The building stays quiet even though you’re in a lively neighborhood, and the management is responsive without being intrusive.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.4 rating really reflects what you experience here — it’s the kind of place that exceeds expectations without trying too hard. You get the independence of having your own space, the authenticity of staying in a real Polish neighborhood, and the peace of mind that comes with well-managed accommodations. I think what guests respond to most is how the place lets you experience Kraków like you actually live there, rather than just passing through. It’s not about fancy amenities or over-the-top service — it’s about giving you a genuine base to explore one of Europe’s most beautiful cities at your own rhythm.

Sarah from United Kingdom (10/10)
Very modern apartment and they’d provided so many extras that I’d not had in other apartment stays. Dish washer tablets, washing powder, washing up liquid. The staff were very helpful and quick to respond to messages. Easy key access system. Lovely quiet location with shops and restaurants just around the corner. 5 min walk to Jewish quarter and 30min walk to old town.

Nice, quiet, beautiful, comfort.
Олег from Ukraine (9/10)
Excellent location, 1 minute walk to the embankment, 15 minutes to the Old Town. There are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. There are paid parking spaces right next to the house (we found a free spot without any problems). The photos are true to reality. We found the house and apartment very quickly and without any problems. The house and furniture are new, everything is clean and tidy. The price is reasonable. We asked to bring an extra set of bedding for the sofa – there were no problems.

Modern apartment with wood laminate flooring, comfy beds and a small balcony in the old ghetto. An easy walk over the river or catch the nearby tram to the old town. We were pleasantly surprised & would definitely stay again. Instructions for collection and deposit of keys perfectly clear.

Nowy apartament w bardzo fajnej lokalizacji. Czysto i przyjemnie, ciepło nawet podczas fali mrozów. Wygodny apartament i wszystko sprawnie działało w trakcie pobytu.

Spora przestrzeń do funkcjonowania.

Polecamy!Mariola from Poland (10/10)
Bardzo ładne mieszkanie, idealne dla pary, dobrze urządzone, jest wszystko co niezbędne. Idealna lokalizacja. Widok z balkonu akurat na Wisłę. Parking miejski wzdłuż ulicy pod blokiem. Bezproblemowa instrukcja wejścia do mieszkania i w razie potrzeby bezproblemowy kontakt z właścicielami.
