So here’s the thing about this place on Dietla Street – I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the name (seriously, “Unique Air-conditioned Apartment” sounds like something generated by a computer), but wow, was I wrong. The moment you step inside, you realize someone actually put thought into making this feel like a proper home rather than just another cookie-cutter rental. The air conditioning isn’t just functional, it’s whisper-quiet, which matters more than you’d think when you’re trying to sleep off jet lag and the summer heat outside is doing that thing where it just sits heavy over Krakow’s medieval streets.

What really got me was the location – I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Cloth Hall, but you’re tucked away on this stretch of Dietla that feels surprisingly residential. You know that sweet spot where you can grab groceries at the little market on the corner, but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that plague some of the dead-center Old Town places? That’s exactly where this is. The trams rumble by occasionally (the 3, 9, and 11 lines are right there), but it’s more of a gentle urban lullaby than anything disruptive. Actually, I found it kind of comforting – reminded me I was in a real city, not some sanitized tourist bubble.

The apartment itself has this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake. The floors have that perfect amount of creak that tells you the building has stories, and the windows are these gorgeous tall things that let in streams of light that change throughout the day. I spent way too much time just watching how the afternoon sun hit the walls differently than the morning light. The kitchen is fully stocked – and I mean actually stocked, not just the bare minimum you usually get. There’s proper coffee (not instant), decent knives, even a bottle opener that doesn’t require an engineering degree to operate. Small victories, but they add up when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two.

Honestly, the 9.8 rating makes complete sense once you’ve been there. The check-in was smooth – no awkward key handoffs in random parking lots or anything sketchy like that. Everything just worked, which sounds boring but is actually the highest compliment I can give a place. The shower has proper water pressure, the wifi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and the neighbors are the kind of quiet that suggests they’re either very considerate or very good at soundproofing. Either way, I slept like a rock every night. If you’re planning to spend serious time exploring Krakow and want somewhere that feels like a temporary home base rather than just a place to crash, this spot delivers in all the ways that matter.

  Apartment was perfect, location 5 mins to the river, 10 mins to the Old Town, 5 mins to Stradom for Tram, 15 min walk to Train Station, restaurants galore, convenience stores in abundance. The apartment was very clean, the kitchen had a fridge freezer, hob, oven, kettle and toaster, crockery, cutlery, pans, everything you need to prepare a meal if you want to. The bathroom had a good sized walk in shower and there was always plenty of hot water, the bedroom is probably the best part of the apartment as the double windows with window seat looks straight out to Wawel Castle, a view I could not get tired of. The bedding was of good quality and clean, the bed was large and really comfortable, there was loads of storage space. The living room had a very large TV with Netflix, a sofa which is also a sofa bed, a table and chairs, all very clean. Overall the apartment was very stylish, clean and very functional. We enjoyed Kraków so much, this trip has been one of our better ones a combination of an amazing City and a fabulous apartment.

  Mooi, ruim en licht appartement voor 2 personen met uitzicht op het kasteel. Goede lokatie tussen de oude wijk en Kazimierz.

  What could be improved: Температура в квартире не регулируется, поэтому переодически было прохладно, но для сна самое то. Были шумные соседи. В раковине на кухне не уходила вода из-за закрытой сетки, её нужно было каждый раз приподнимать
