Honestly, when I first heard “Urban Loft,” I was expecting another cookie-cutter place trying too hard to be hip. But LoftAffair actually gets it right – and that 9.4 rating isn’t just marketing fluff, it’s completely deserved.

The moment you walk in, you can tell someone put real thought into this place. The lobby has this industrial-chic thing going on, but it’s warm somehow – exposed brick that actually looks authentic, not slapped on for Instagram. I mean, it’s only a 3-star property, so you’re not getting marble everything, but the design choices feel intentional. The front desk staff? They actually seem to enjoy working there, which is rarer than you’d think. Check-in was smooth, and they knew the neighborhood well enough to point me toward the good coffee spot two blocks down (not the tourist trap on the corner).

The rooms are where this place really shines though. You know what I love? They didn’t try to cram a tiny desk and chair into every corner just to say they have a workspace. Instead, you get these genuinely spacious lofts with high ceilings that make you forget you’re in a budget-friendly spot. The beds are surprisingly comfortable – I’m talking actually-slept-through-the-night comfortable, not just decent-for-the-price comfortable. And the bathrooms, well, they’re compact but smartly designed. Good water pressure, which is honestly half the battle in urban hotels. The AC units are a bit loud, but nothing that drowns out your Netflix binge.

What really sold me was the little things nobody mentions in typical reviews. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (tested it during a work call – no drops). There’s decent soundproofing between rooms, so you’re not listening to your neighbor’s entire phone conversation. And here’s something I appreciated – the windows actually open, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places seal you in completely. On quieter mornings, you can hear the city waking up without feeling like you’re sleeping on the sidewalk.

The location works if you’re the type who likes to explore on foot rather than staying right in the thick of everything. You’re close enough to walk to the main action, but far enough away that you can actually get some sleep. Street parking isn’t impossible, though I’d probably spring for their garage if I were driving – parallel parking with a rental car and luggage isn’t my idea of vacation fun.

Look, it’s not perfect – the elevator’s a bit slow during busy times, and the lobby can get pretty lively in the evenings (which you might love or hate, depending on your mood). But for what you’re paying, especially considering that rating, you’re getting way more personality and comfort than those big chain places that charge twice as much for half the character. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like staying at a design-savvy friend’s place than a generic hotel room, LoftAffair nails it.

  Very nice, clean and well equipped duplex apartment. After booking, you will be sent a PDF file with instructions (Polish and English), as well as an access code to the apartment key.
  Near the house there is a city paid parking where you will need to leave the car for a short time and go up to the apartment to pick up the key to the underground parking. The door to the underground parking is quite narrow and it will not be easy for large cars. There is an elevator from the parking lot that will take you to the apartment (this is especially valuable in the rain).
  There is a paved road near the house and with open windows it can be noisy. In addition, tourists and young people walk a lot in the surroundings, so in the evening it can be noisy also because of this. With the windows closed, this is not a problem.
  On the ground floor there is a kitchen-living room and a toilet. On the top floor – a bedroom and a shower room with a toilet.
  There are bed linen, towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo and hair balm.
  There is also a washing machine, dishwasher, electric stove, coffee machine, electric kettle and even a blender.

  Really amazing apartment! You have everything you need in one place. Location excellent. Parking is good, but it is very narrow especially the entrance (so check your car size before). Everything is just a few steps from the apartment. We will return!

  Great location — right in the centre of the Jewish quarter and close to lots of restaurants and cafes. Building is new and with easy access to underground parking. The apartment was beautiful, spacious and comfy, and fully equipped.
