Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Urban Nest Apartments on Szewska? The name actually makes sense once you’re there – it really does feel more like crashing at a friend’s well-organized apartment than staying at some sterile hotel. I mean, Szewska Street has this buzz about it that’s hard to pin down, sort of residential but with enough cafés and late-night spots that you’re never really disconnected from the action.
The thing is, this place knows exactly what it is. It’s a solid three-star setup that doesn’t try to pretend it’s the Ritz, and honestly, that works in its favor. The apartments themselves have this lived-in comfort – not fancy, but everything you actually need is there and works properly. The kitchenettes are surprisingly functional (I actually cooked breakfast a couple times instead of hunting for overpriced hotel food), and the beds are decent enough that I wasn’t counting ceiling tiles at 2 AM. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re right in the middle of everything. The building seems to muffle street noise pretty well, which is crucial because Szewska can get lively on weekends.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no forced small talk or upselling, just efficient and friendly. The 7.3 rating feels about right, maybe even a bit conservative. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it won’t disappoint either, and there’s something to be said for that kind of reliability. The location really is the secret weapon here though. You can walk to most of the places you’d want to hit during the day, and when you stumble back at night (because let’s be honest, that’s probably happening), you’re not dealing with complicated transit or expensive cab rides. There’s a little grocery store maybe two blocks away that saved me more than once, and the whole neighborhood has this authentic local vibe that tourist-heavy areas tend to lack. If you’re the type who’d rather blend in with actual residents than be obviously “staying at the hotel,” this spot delivers on that front.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Krakow at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near Market Square.

The place is clean and spacious. Even though it's one room only, we (2 adults and 2 kids) could easily sleep there. Shower is good (important point for me).
The location is amazing. Just open the entrance door, and you find yourself in a pub.
