Vintage Studencka 1 Apartment Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Vintage Studencka 1 Apartment, you immediately get that “I’m in the real Krakow” feeling — and I mean that in the best possible way. The building sits right on Studencka Street in Old Town, where cobblestones meet centuries-old architecture, and honestly, the location alone makes this four-star property worth considering. You’re not just staying near the historic center; you’re actually living in it. The entrance has that authentic Polish charm without feeling overly touristy, which can be surprisingly hard to find in this part of the city.
Location & Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot — you can walk to Market Square in about three minutes, but you’re tucked away on a quieter street that locals actually use. Studencka translates to “student street,” and you’ll see why when you notice the mix of university buildings and residential life around you. The property scored a 9.9 for location, and after spending time here, I get it completely. You’re close enough to hear the trumpet call from St. Mary’s Basilica, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you can actually sleep at night. Plus, there’s a fantastic milk bar just around the corner that most visitors never discover.
The Apartment Experience
What sets Vintage Studencka 1 Apartment apart is that it actually feels like staying in someone’s carefully curated home rather than a sterile hotel room. The vintage touches aren’t just for show — there’s genuine character in the furnishings and layout that reflects Krakow’s artistic heritage. The space is thoughtfully designed for couples (which explains why pairs rate it so highly), with cozy seating areas and enough room to spread out without feeling cramped. You know what I appreciated most? The kitchen setup actually works if you want to grab fresh bread from the nearby bakery and have a proper breakfast at home.
Practical Comforts
The apartment strikes that sweet spot between historic charm and modern functionality. The Wi-Fi is reliable — important if you’re working remotely or just trying to navigate the city — and the heating system keeps things comfortable even during Krakow’s chilly months. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it stays despite being in the heart of Old Town; the windows do a good job blocking street noise. The bathroom feels updated without losing the building’s character, and there’s actually decent water pressure, which isn’t always a given in these older buildings.
Why Guests Love It
With a 9.1 rating, this place clearly hits the mark for most visitors, and I think it comes down to authenticity. You’re not getting a generic hotel experience — you’re getting a genuine taste of living in Krakow’s most historic neighborhood. Couples especially seem to connect with the intimate atmosphere and the fact that you can explore the city’s best restaurants, bars, and cultural sites on foot. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’ve discovered something special rather than just booked another accommodation. For the price point of a four-star property, you’re getting an experience that feels much more personal and memorable.

Modern, beautiful apartment, comfortable beds, great location, nice balcony, well equipped kitchen, coffee and breakfast bistro right next to the building, very good communication with owner. Definitely recommend! We didn’t mind the stairs up to the apartment.
Et skønt ophold i dejligste lejlighed. Dejligt med en lille altan og skønne madoplevelser lige om hjørnet. Kan kun anbef – Lykke from Denmark – July 20, 2025 (10/10)
Skøn central beliggenhed og skøn lejlighed med plads til hele familien
Excellent location, and very reasonably priced. – Helen from United Kingdom – April 19, 2025 (8/10)
The location of the apartment is excellent – a couple of minutes walk to the main square. Couldn’t ask for a better location.
What could be improved: The apartment is on the third floor with no lift. It wasn’t an issue for us because we only had cabin bags and we didn’t go back and forth to the apartment much, we would leave for the day come back in the evening to freshen up before dinner so not many trips but if you have mobility issues it will be a issue. The apartment was clean and comfortable, private and safe.Thoroughly enjoyed it – Louisa from United Kingdom – March 27, 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: Nothing at all!Very Good – Valerio from Belgium – September 5, 2024 (8/10)
Very clean. Comfortable.
What could be improved: The only thing is that the sofa is a bit small for 2 People and pay attention to the fact that it is a 3rd floor without lift (probably it is in the description but I skipped it 😉)Very nice! – Irma from Lithuania – August 17, 2024 (10/10)
Location perfect, it was also quiet, landlord was very helpful
What could be improved: There is no air conditioner , but it was not to hoot, mosquito net on windows would be niceExceptional – Ilmars from Belgium – July 17, 2024 (10/10)
Excellent location
Exceptional – Colin from Ireland – January 4, 2024 (10/10)
Fantastic location, easy to walk around all of the Old town from the apartment. Clean rooms and everything you need included in the apartment (iron, hairdryer, tv, cooking hob). The balcony is a nice touch also. Would highly recommend for groups of 3-5.
What could be improved: Tricky to get into apartment with the different keys and locks but easy to figure out after one or two goes. However, this is reassuring that the apartment is very safe.
