Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Vista View Apartment? It’s actually tucked away on this quiet little street in Old Town that most tourists never find – Beera Meiselsa is one of those cobblestone lanes that feels completely removed from the madness around the Main Square, but you’re literally a three-minute walk from all the action. I mean, you can hear the horse carriages clip-clopping by in the distance, but it’s not keeping you up at night.

The apartment itself has this really solid, lived-in quality that I wasn’t expecting from the photos. The floors creak just enough to remind you you’re in a centuries-old building, and the windows – honestly, this is where the “Vista View” name makes sense – look out over these beautiful courtyards and red-tiled rooftops that stretch toward Wawel Castle. You’ll spend way more time than you planned just standing there with your morning coffee, watching the city wake up. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights (and honestly, the local markets are incredible – there’s this tiny grocery on Grodzka Street where the woman behind the counter will pick out the best bread for you). Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward key-passing-in-a-café situation you sometimes get with apartment rentals.

What really sealed it for me was how the place strikes this perfect balance between being authentically Kraków and actually comfortable for modern travelers. The heating works properly (crucial if you’re visiting in shoulder season), there’s decent WiFi, and the shower has proper water pressure – small things, maybe, but they matter when you’ve been walking around cobblestones all day. The location puts you right in the sweet spot where you can stumble home from a late dinner on Szeroka Street without needing a taxi, but you’re far enough from the main tourist drag that you feel like you’re experiencing the real rhythm of the neighborhood. Plus, parking isn’t the nightmare it could be – there’s actually a small lot nearby if you’re driving, though honestly, once you’re here, you won’t need the car much.

Reviews

  • Nice place in an interesting neighbourhood where there is a lot to see and do. – Marina from Estonia – July 29, 2025 (8/10)

A charming old building with décor that perfectly matched its style. The sofa in the living room could use an upgrade, as it looked a bit worn. Other than that, we really liked the apartment. There are some great places to eat in the area, and the host also recommended some excellent spots. Just around the corner, there’s a street food zone where the venues stay open until 2 a.m.

What could be improved: The apartment doesn’t have an air conditioner, which is probably the biggest downside if you stay there during the summer. The apartment is located on one of the noisiest streets in the area, and you need to keep the windows open to get fresh air in the rooms. The noise goes on for a long time — when the street noise dies down, the street cleaning and garbage trucks start up, and cafés begin preparing to open. However, if you enjoy the lively atmosphere and aren’t bothered by the noise, this part of the street is perfect for you. However, the neighborhood itself is very nice in a cool part of the city, with the Old Town just a short walk away.

Loved the apartment was great. Had everything needed. Good location. 20min walk to the square. Loved wodka bsr across the road. And shop next door is handy lots of choice. Everything winging easy reach.

What could be improved: The smell in the bathroom was awful. Mattress was uncomfortable in the big bedroom. The building is old and looks rundown. Looks ruff from the outside.
