Look, I’ll be honest – the name “Vistula Avenue Apartment free Parking, Swimming Pool, Sauna & Gym” sounds like someone just threw every amenity into a search engine, but don’t let that put you off. This place on Kościuszki Street is actually a solid find, especially if you’re the type who gets anxious about parking in European cities (trust me, free parking in Krakow is basically winning the lottery). The location in Zwierzyniec is one of those things that sounds fancy but is really just practical – you’re close enough to walk to the Old Town when you feel like it, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with crowds of tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM.

What really surprised me was how well they’ve balanced the apartment feel with actual hotel amenities. I mean, you’ve got your own space to spread out, which is clutch if you’re staying more than a couple nights, but then there’s this genuinely nice pool area downstairs that doesn’t feel like an afterthought. The sauna is small – probably fits six people max – but it’s clean and gets properly hot, which honestly is more than I can say for some five-star places I’ve stayed. The gym is basic but functional; think a few cardio machines and free weights rather than anything fancy, but it does the job if you need to burn off all that pierogi. You know what though? The real win is being able to come back after a long day walking around Wawel Castle and actually having room to decompress, maybe grab something from the little Żabka down the street and eat it at your own table instead of perched on a hotel bed.

The building itself sits on this tree-lined stretch where you’ll see more locals than tourists, which gives you that authentic neighborhood vibe without sacrificing convenience. Trams run regularly just a few blocks away, and there’s this little café called Moment that locals actually go to – not the kind of place that jacks up prices because it’s in a guidebook. The 8.6 rating makes sense once you factor in that parking situation alone (seriously, have you seen what hotels charge for parking in the city center?), plus the staff actually seems to live in Krakow rather than just work there, so they can point you toward things like where to get the best zapiekanka or which days the flower market is worth visiting. It’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it hits that sweet spot of having what you need without paying for a bunch of stuff you don’t care about.

  The apartment itself was clean and with a new fashionable furniture.
  
  What could be improved: It was nearly impossible to find the main door for the building, especially during the night. There was a street construction which made it harder to reach the apartment with a taxi.

  Mysigt område nära floden och wawel slottet. Nära till centrum, butiker och alla sevärdheter. Pool avdelningen var mycket fin och trevlig, fin pool med glastak som släppte in solljus. Bastun var jätteskön och varm. Litet men välutrustat gym med vikter, maskiner, träningsapparater. Fina rum med bra kök och sköna sängar. TV:n var mycket bra. Väktare som satt i receptionen dygnet runt och patrullerade i trapphus, garage och poolområde, kameraövervakat överallt, tryggt och bra.
  Mycket bra parkeringsgarage under huset, enkelt att ta hiss ända upp till lägenheten.
  
  What could be improved: Det skulle varit bra om det gjorts enklare att boka bastun, den var lite krånglig att få igång utan hjälp från vakten.
