Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Wanderlust Apartments? The name actually fits – and that’s rarer than you’d think with hotels these days. Tucked away on Wróblewskiego Street (don’t worry, everyone just points when they give directions), this place sits right in that sweet spot where Old Town charm meets actual livability. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the main square, but somehow you’ve escaped that tourist trap chaos that makes you want to hide indoors by 2 PM. The building itself has that classic Krakow thing going on – you know, those beautiful old facades that make you wonder what stories these walls could tell, but inside everything’s been thoughtfully updated without losing the character.
What really got me was how the staff seemed to actually know the neighborhood. Not just the obvious stuff like “Cloth Hall is that way,” but genuine local intel. The woman at check-in told me which pierogi place the university students actually go to (it’s not the one in all the guidebooks), and honestly, that recommendation alone made my trip. The apartments themselves feel like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place – everything works properly, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out when you need it most, and there’s actually decent water pressure, which… well, if you’ve stayed in historic European buildings before, you know that’s not always a given. I loved that they didn’t go overboard trying to recreate some medieval fantasy – it’s just clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet considering you’re in the heart of everything. Even during the weekend when Krakow gets properly lively, I could actually sleep with the windows open.
The location thing is hard to overstate without sounding like a brochure, but seriously – you can stumble back from Kazimierz after a night out (those jazz clubs will keep you later than planned), or duck back for an afternoon nap before dinner without it feeling like a major expedition. And if you’re dealing with cobblestones and a suitcase, which is basically inevitable in this city, you’ll appreciate that the nearest tram stop doesn’t involve dragging your luggage across half the square. I stayed during shoulder season in October, and while Krakow was busy enough to feel vibrant, it wasn’t that summer madness where you can’t move on Floriańska Street. The 9.3 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s that rare place where the small details are sorted, the big picture works, and you find yourself already planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

This apartment is very well located in a quiet street, in the middle of the Old Town and the central bus and train station, with multiple convenience stores nearby. The room is tastefully decorated and very clean. The small kitchen was also handy. The coffee and tea rations are a welcomed surprise.
What could be improved: Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay here. There is no elevator, for travellers who should note, but not a problem for us.Wonderful – Daniela from Bulgaria – July 3, 2025 (9/10)
Modern, spacious and very clean apartment, equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Location is great – close to the old town, 10-15 minutes from Main train station, in a safe area. The building is well maintained, vestibule is clean. The street is quite in the night (windows closed), there were no noises from the building also.
Host is very responsive.
The comfort of the mattresses and the pillows is a matter of personal preferences so I couldn't say they are comfortable or not. After a long day of exploring the city we slept well. The only issue we have was the heat in the apartment, so we need to use a ventilator all night.Exceptional – Kirsty from United Kingdom – July 2, 2025 (10/10)

Quiet property in an excellent location – Malcolm from New Zealand – May 16, 2025 (10/10)
We arrived at property at midnight & Michal sent us in advance excellent instructions on how to access both the gates/doors and our apartment. The location is quiet and in a good area, plus Auschwitz tour picks you up outside the gate & Salt Mines tour pick you up just around the corner. Also this apartment had cooking facilities which was a bonus.

The place is really well kept, clean and organized. The location is perfect because it's close to the old Town. Has everything available inside the apartment and the space is great.

Absolutely fantastic stay – highly recommended!
Our experience at Wanderlust Apartments was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. The apartment was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable and quiet – perfect for a restful city break. It had just the right amount of space and style, with thoughtful touches like a high-quality bed and a perfectly sized little fridge.
The communication was seamless and super straightforward, even though our arrival time was a bit tricky. The hosts were warm, helpful, and accommodating throughout. The location is brilliant – easy to access and ideal for exploring Kraków.
We truly appreciated the calm, welcoming vibe and the attention to detail. It felt like a little oasis. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone and would stay again in a heartbeat!
