This three-star property sits right in Old Town, and I mean actually in it — not some tourist interpretation of what Old Town should be. The building has that authentic Polish character without trying too hard, and honestly, the location alone makes this place worth considering.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re genuinely in the heart of everything, but it doesn’t feel like you’re staying inside a theme park. The cobblestone streets around Czarnowiejska lead you straight into the main square in just a few minutes on foot. You know what’s great? You can actually hear the Hejnał trumpet call from St. Mary’s Basilica if you listen carefully in the morning. Couples seem to really get this location (they rate it 9.3, which makes total sense), probably because there’s something romantic about wandering these medieval streets together without having to plan elaborate transportation.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was clean and functional — exactly what you’d expect from a well-run three-star place. Nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which is more than I can say for some pricier hotels I’ve tried in Kraków. The windows actually open (a small thing that matters when you want fresh air), and the beds are comfortable enough that you’ll sleep well after a day of exploring. The Wi-Fi is solid, which you’ll appreciate when you’re trying to figure out opening hours for Wawel Castle or looking up that restaurant someone recommended.

Practical Considerations

One thing to know — this is Old Town, so don’t expect to pull up with a rental car easily. Parking around here requires some local knowledge, but honestly, you won’t need a car anyway. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and the trams are right there when you want to venture further out. The staff actually knows the neighborhood well, which helps when you’re trying to find that specific pierogi place that’s supposedly “just around the corner” but somehow impossible to locate on your own. You’ll find small apartment-style accommodations nearby if you need more space.

Why Guests Love It

That 9.4 rating isn’t an accident — this place delivers on what it promises without any pretense. You’re staying where locals actually live and work, not in some sanitized hotel district. I mean, you can grab groceries at the small shops nearby, duck into authentic bars that don’t have English menus, and generally feel like you’re experiencing Kraków rather than just visiting it. For the price point, you get genuine Old Town access without the inflated costs of the fancier places that are often further from the real action anyway. The kitchen facilities available make extended stays even more practical.

  Apartment was excellent and had all the mod-cons. Not too far from the centre and the host was accommodating after we had not received initial check-in instructions ( our mistake).

  everything except not been able to resolve the issue caused by booking.com they took payment then we were left with a cancelled accommodation. luckily we were able to book again on arrival with the way2stay direct. so we have paid twice,there seemed to be no way of resolving this with way2stay and booking.com which was well disappointing.

  Cozy and comfortable stay. Near the city center. Car parking on the street, can pay credit card or leave for all day nearby (90 zl.)

  2) Bedding, no. of pillows, sheets etc were in good number.
  3) Kitchen had good no. of cutleries and all basic items (salt, pepper etc.). This was really great.

  Secure building and nice studio apartment at 4h floor. Perfect for solo or couple travelling. Microwave, fridge, queen bed and shower. Close to supermarket around the corner. City centre 5-10 min away with taxi, tram station nearby and airport about 20-25 min away.

  Nice, modern Studio Apartment that is conveniently located next to a small supermarket (Carrefour) and public transport. Walking distance from the main market square, but not in the very city center, so not as noisy. Park nearby.

  Apartment is about 900 m. from the city centre and about 1,3 km from Wawel Castle. Apartment is clean and comfortable;) Everything you need is in that place. Highly recommended!
