You know what caught me off guard about Wielopole Homes – LoftAffair? The name actually makes sense once you’re standing in one of these converted spaces. I mean, it really does feel like someone took an old loft and turned it into something you’d want to live in for a week, not just crash in overnight. The whole setup has this sort of authentic residential vibe that’s honestly refreshing after staying in cookie-cutter hotel rooms.

The spaces themselves are what sold me – high ceilings, exposed brick in some units, and these big windows that actually open (revolutionary concept, I know). It’s not trying to be fancy in that forced boutique hotel way, but there’s character here. The kitchen setups are legit too, which matters if you’re like me and get tired of eating out every meal. I actually cooked breakfast a couple times, and having real counter space felt like a luxury. The whole place sits at that sweet spot where it’s clearly been renovated and updated, but they didn’t strip away everything that made it interesting in the first place.

What I appreciated most was how quiet it gets at night – you’re in the city but somehow insulated from the usual urban chaos. Check-in was straightforward, no hovering desk staff or complicated key card situations. The 8.1 rating feels about right honestly; it’s solid without being extraordinary, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want. There are a few rough edges – the elevator in my building was a bit temperamental, and the WiFi had its moody moments – but nothing that would make me choose somewhere else next time. The neighborhood itself has that lived-in feel where you’ve got actual residents mixed in with visitors, which I always prefer to those sterile hotel districts. Plus, you’re walking distance to some genuinely good coffee spots that clearly aren’t just tourist traps. For a 3-star place, it punches above its weight in terms of space and personality, and the pricing reflects that middle-ground approach where you’re getting more room and character than a standard hotel without the premium markup of the boutique places.

  everything other than the squeaky floorboards which I know can't be helped . everything else was great oh and the drilling again which can't be helped . I think two lamps in a room would be better .other than that a great stay thankyou x

  The room is in the last floor of the building. The main room and the kitchen are common for all the rooms. All the rooms have private bathroom. It was clean, cozy and near the center. There is a mini market near the building.

  Very well accessible by walk or public transportation and close to the city center. Easy check-in, perfect system for access (codes and keys). Very well equipped, nice and clean. Own bathroom for the room, huge common space (kitchen & living room) and last but not least – coffee machine in the shared kitchen 🙂
