Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment building on Grzegórzecka – it’s one of those streets that sounds intimidating but is actually pretty central once you get oriented. The “VIP” in the name had me rolling my eyes a bit, but walking into this fifth-floor space? Yeah, okay, I get it now. The jacuzzi isn’t some tiny hotel tub situation – it’s actually substantial enough that you’ll want to use it, especially after a day wandering around Kazimierz or trudging up to Wawel Castle. The whole apartment has this modern, clean aesthetic that feels genuinely upscale without being stuffy, and the windows give you these surprisingly nice views over the rooftops toward the old town.

What really sold me on this place was how it strikes that perfect balance between feeling like you’re staying somewhere special while still being, well, livable. The kitchen is actually functional (I mean, you can cook real meals here if you want), there’s proper closet space, and the bathroom – beyond the jacuzzi situation – has excellent water pressure and stays warm. You’re about a 15-minute walk from the main square, which honestly is ideal because you avoid the tourist chaos right outside your door but you’re close enough that late dinners in the old town don’t require planning your route home. The Grzegórzecka tram stops are right there too, so getting around is easy once you figure out Krakow’s tram system (which, fair warning, takes a day or two).

I’ll be real with you – this isn’t the cheapest option in Krakow, and if you’re just looking for a place to crash between sightseeing, there are plenty of decent hostels and budget hotels. But if you want that feeling of actually living in the city for a few days, maybe with someone special where the jacuzzi and the space and the whole setup becomes part of why you’re there? It’s worth it. The building itself is quiet – I never heard neighbors – and the fifth floor means you’re above most of the street noise but the elevator works fine so it’s not a climb. Check-in was smooth, though make sure you coordinate timing since it’s not a traditional hotel front desk situation. The area has some solid restaurants within walking distance (there’s this little pierogi place two blocks over that locals actually go to), and you’re positioned perfectly to explore both the Jewish quarter and the main tourist areas without feeling like you’re camping in either one.

  Piękne i bardzo czyste apartamenty, zapewniające przyjemny i komfortowy pobyt. Ogromnym plusem jest oczywiście duże jacuzzi. Właściciel był zawsze w kontakcie i służył pomocą w każdej sprawie. Sam dom jest nowy i znajduje się w dobrej lokalizacji, tuż obok sklepu, kawiarni i dostępu do rzeki. Miłym bonusem jest również parking podziemny, wliczony w cenę zakwaterowania. Na pewno wrócimy.
