There’s something romantic about wandering these medieval streets together, especially in the evening when the crowds thin out a bit.

Your Home Base

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable — nothing fancy, but everything you need for exploring the city. What I appreciated most was how quiet it was despite being so central. You’d think with all the activity outside you’d hear everything, but the windows do a decent job of keeping the noise down. The space feels more like a well-appointed apartment than a typical hotel room, which gives you that “living like a local” vibe that’s hard to find in touristy areas.

Getting Around

Here’s something practical — parking in Kraków’s Old Town is basically impossible, but if you’re coming by car, the staff can point you toward nearby options. Most guests just walk everywhere though, which is honestly the best way to experience this part of the city anyway. The tram stops are close by if you want to venture further out, and the train station isn’t too far either. I found myself barely using any transportation because everything I wanted to see was right there.

Look, this isn’t going to be the most luxurious place you’ve ever stayed, but that’s not really the point. What you’re paying for is that incredible location — and trust me, it’s worth every penny. When other travelers are taking taxis or walking 15 minutes to get to the main attractions, you’re already there.   Good location. I was on the second floor so two flights of stairs to climb and although this was no problem for me it might have been for someone older or with more luggage, however perhaps the host would have helped if required.

  If you are looking for a good location then this is the place to stay. The main square is one minute away. The furniture looks a bit dated although there is just about everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are very responsive to messages. We stayed the begining of September and found the apartment to be warm, which will be a bonus for those staying in the cooler months. There is a large electric fan but at times struggled to keep the room cool. Plenty of cutlery and lots of tea bags and coffee sachets. The wi-fi works very well and so does the TV, although it only has youtube and netflix. The shower in the bathroom is very good and there is a very warm towel rain for drying clothes.

  Apartament w samym rynku. Pokój ma fajną wielkość, jest dodatkowa kanapa jak na zdjęciach. Przy takiej powierzchni mógłby być stół do jedzenia. Kuchnia dobrze wyposażona. Czysto i cicho, okna wychodzą na podwórko. Idealne na krótki pobyt.
