I spent my mornings grabbing coffee from the little café around the corner, then wandering into the square to watch the city wake up. The couples I met during my stay were absolutely right to rave about this spot — there’s something romantic about being able to duck back to your apartment between sightseeing sessions, especially when the tourist crowds get overwhelming around midday.

The Apartment Experience

The room I stayed in felt more like a proper city flat than a typical hotel setup, which I actually preferred. There’s a small kitchenette that’s perfect for making morning coffee or storing those Polish pastries you’ll inevitably buy too many of (trust me on this one). The space isn’t huge, but it’s thoughtfully arranged — everything you need is there without feeling cramped. The windows face the street, so you get that authentic Old Town soundtrack, though it quiets down nicely in the evenings.

Breakfast and Practical Bits

The breakfast situation here is actually quite solid for a three-star place. They do both Continental and Full English options, which covers most bases — I’m partial to the Continental myself, especially with good Polish bread and local jams. What really impressed me was the parking situation. Finding a spot in Kraków’s Old Town is usually a nightmare, but they’ve got private parking right on site. It’s not something you’d think about until you need it, but then you’re incredibly grateful it exists.

Why Guests Love It

Honestly, it comes down to location and value. You’re paying three-star prices to sleep in the heart of one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval cities. I watched other travelers spend twice as much to stay in modern hotels outside the Old Town, then waste time and money getting back and forth. Here, you just step outside and you’re already where you want to be. The 8.1 rating makes sense — it’s not trying to be something it’s not, but what it does deliver, it does really well. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.
