The building itself has that solid, pre-war feel that you get in a lot of Polish cities – thick walls that actually block out street noise, high ceilings that don’t make you feel cramped. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward waiting around while someone fumbles with keys or explains seventeen different wifi passwords.

What I really appreciated was how they managed to nail that sweet spot between hotel amenities and apartment living. The rooms – well, they’re more like small apartments really – have everything you actually need without all the random stuff that just takes up space. Good water pressure in the shower (you know how it is with older buildings sometimes), a kitchen setup that you’d actually want to use, and honestly some of the most comfortable beds I’ve encountered in this price range. I stayed there during a particularly rainy week in October, and there’s something to be said for having a proper space to spread out when the weather keeps you indoors. The whole place has this clean, minimalist vibe without feeling sterile – like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place rather than a corporate housing situation. You can tell they pay attention to the details that matter, like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually work. For a 3-star place pulling an 8.3 rating, they’re definitely doing something right. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because it just feels… well, comfortable in a way that makes you not want to leave.
